Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Probably something like Indonesian Hawk 53, Thai F-84G or Malaysian MB-339AM, the Thai Alpha Jet with 4 AIM-9P seems a bit much to replace an 8.0 aircraft.

Well with the AIM-9P they just just do an Alpha jet (early) the same thing as they are doing with the AV-8S atm and pretend it’s not there

They could, but why would they if there’s better options? Indonesian Hawk 53 is at least in my opinion the best replacement, since it’s similar enough in role and could actually be used at 8.0 rather than end up at a BR past that.

And they can even still reuse the model. The Brits probably want their Hawk too, they could just add it for both trees.

I mean like remember before the hole backlash thing

Does someone know when the battlepass he-177 will be on the market?

Mb339 is overdue anyway.

@Smin1080p_WT Does this mean that there is no use in reporting/suggesting further weaponry for the WTD-61 aircraft?

well i want the hawk but the version of it matters alot as there are some equiped with very advanced missiles for the curret game and given its flight performace it might be a problem

With the update, should we expect any improvement(s) for the US ground tech tree?

Currently in the state that the US is in, everything beyond 10.3 (maybe 10.7) seems to be a joke still, even with the M1a2 SEP V2, there’s truly no benefit to even research said V2 with the forced TUSK package, like…none, unless you’re coping to just have a 3rd tank with M829a2. The SPAA US has currently is hot-dog water, and I understand that the US has no other SPAA (because in reality, the US should, and would have air superiority and control rendering the use of SPAA moot.) However, none of this currently helps the US Ground tree at all. (Not counting CAS or jets controlling the air space.)

I would love to see the US Ground forces get shown love, and fixing the Abrams to be more “combatable” than where it is now. unpopular opinion: I would love to see the Click-Bait be moved down to 10.7/11.0 and being fine with the fact that it would get a weaker APFSDS.

@Smin1080p_WT sorry for the ping but I just realised today the reload on the Rooikat Mk1D is the same as the 105s on most MBTs yet it does far less damage per shot and rarely one shots, are there any chances that might change?

With there recent subtree/nation drive I doubt there will be a new nation.

Eh maybe there is still a chance for the SEPv3 to appear in the december update.

Although seeing how little top tier ground content was added last year, I don’t have high hopes.

The zoom changes from 6-12x from 3-18x for both US and UK adats are really nice. Huge quality of life imo.

Also while it’s not really a buff, but that new .50 cal that the US adats got is really funny.

Polish aircraft and ground should be standalone tech tree only ? 🤔

Just because they are not a sub doesn’t mean they will be a independent tree, for now at least they will go wherever the origins of the tech was.

I.e German Leo = Germany, Firefly = Britain ect

I do remember, but I also remember they scrapped the SG Leopard they were about to give China for the update. So the best thing we can do is to stay persistent so Gaijin don’t think they can wait it out and actually feel some pressure to rethink this.

In this case it’s a Hawk 53, armed with a belly mounted 30mm cannon as well as 4 wing hardpoints for unguided bombs or rockets. Of course any Hawk 100/200 variant would be way too much as a replacement for R2Y2.

They should be the lead nation for Warsaw Pact techtree and you cant convince me otherwise

Maybe it comes as the leopard 2 evolution (or revolution dont know which the sg is based on) for germany
or for japan (but then the sg and not the evolution/revolution)

New tank for Germany
