Honestly, I don’t feel sorry for the US mains at all, they laughed at the German CAS problem, and now we’ll laugh at their tears about the wrong engine.

I think what they mean by “full stealth” is that the RCS should be roughly equal in all directions.

On the dev server it was extremely stealthy in a very narrow head-on sector, and basically non stealth everywhere else. This is not how the F-117 stealth works…

Dev up?

sadly not yet

Once I ve read an F-22 has the Radar Signature as big as a Bee so I think even if its visible will some1 relate this minimal Signal to an enemy fighter incoming?

I don’t have it

As well as the ir reduction. If 9ls had trouble locking onto harriers in the falklands war from top down i think the it should have a harder time locking onto the f117 frontally than 5-6km.

I’ve been programmatically monitoring the torrent file for my DEV client for changes for the last few hours, and no new versions have appeared yet.

Yeah especially taking into account the extreme measures that was taken to reduce IR signature

Downrated engines, non AB, deeply embedded in aircraft, exhaust spread over wide area, exhaust is pre mixed with cool air, upwards angled ramp to hide signature from the ground etc.

Idk if the APG-70 will be better than APG-63(V)1 that is on the F-15C. Keep in mind the 63(V)1 is more modern, but likely they will perform identical in A2A in war thunder except that the APG-70 gets its ground modes modelled (not relevant in A2A).

It’s already 2am where I live. I need to get to bed…

Which is what I found weird. Like I get their reasoning for not wanting to give the 15E the better engines, even if I don’t agree with it. But then a bit later they just go “well yeah but we disregard what we just said and are giving the 15I those better engines” and they start smiling to eachother.

iirc the airframe of the 15E is like 3 tons heavier. The better engines compensate for that somewhat, but we aren’t sure yet if the US 15E is even getting those engines.

It also shows the ir sig of the f117 showing the exhaust is Alot cooler, even at the exhaust nozzle, and disperses rapidly.

Standard gaijin nonsense.
