Lvl 100 players are often more expericed and have tech trees unlocked, so either their tired of top tier, because its a mess, or their starting a new tech tree, Personally, I enjoy more low tiers but the lowest ill go is 3.0, I dont enjoy the reserve to 2.0 tanks all that much, but i really enjoy playing stuff like the 75 shermans 76 T34s and Pz 3, 4’s.

I have so many early tanks that I didn’t full research when I started ,I like to go back and fully Mod them.
I don’t win every game either because I am rarely the only level 100 on there.
I also see players at mid tier level 10 getting 10 kills a game so it works both ways.Only conclusion is that level means little.
I also play on Console which does not pitch me that high in the scheme of things.I have bushes and good crew skills in the main trees to try and at least give me a chance which it may or may not.
I don’t have any time for gate keepers on here,play what you like when you like.

High tiers has zero playability
- less skill needed ( spaa with radar and planes with ccip )
- better zoom means larger spawn camp
- damage model is totally crap
- having a full line is too much grind ( after grinding 400k for the 122B+ you need another 400k for the ito or u play with no spaa )
- not full lines means OLD
- high tier premiums means MORE ODL
- half team OLD in the first 2 mins means game over
- easily spawn camped from helis or planes
- less vehicles ( 90% medium tanks and full of copy pasta planes )
- balance at higher tiers is a total mess
- uptier get worse

This is a late reply and I know that, but MAAAAAAN is that a toxic attitude to have in regards to new players. Let the dude speak his mind on his views on the game. Just because you or I have 1,000+ hours on War Thunder doesn’t mean someone with let’s say 20 can’t speak their mind on things. It’s not hard to find out whether or not something is good by watching gameplay. I don’t have the Gripen yet I know it kicks ass, same can be said for anything in game!

I think you might be about to get the Negative GE bug ,you need to be careful what you say because if you cant play you cant post.Just saying.
Its not a low-tier seal clubbing thing, its a war thunder high-tier is trash thing. Also, I forgot who said it here but yes, max up tiers at a full 1.0 are just cringe worthy. It also doesn’t help that they made the maps more funnel like with a single capture point. Example: Karelia at 5.7 or higher is a joke.
To be honest, 1.0 to 4.7 is mindless fun to just relax and play the game and not deal with Gaijoobs shenanigans.

Despite playing all nations, I haven’t played much of Japan ground forces, so I recently had a lot of Rank 1 matches, despite being level 100 and deep in to the rest of the tech trees.
It’s just going to happen. No big deal.

I know how you feel.If the game was terrible and I hated it I wouldn’t play it so much and I wouldn’t be on here. I only watch for the updates to see what they have just ruined.
I suppose they get so little praise from the whiny fan base .Nobody ever says OK guys enough ,its good ,its done now leave it.
If they just left it stable the newbies could get a foot in the door at some point and we wouldn’t have this post on the forum.
Trouble is you be level 100 in this game and still not have a clue what is going on any more.Might as well all be newbies.
There was certainly no expertise when I first started playing as France at 1BR that is for sure.I still see top positions taken by level 9 in higher BRs. Maybe its all those recently terminated cheats climbing back in.
Even if everything were perfect at top tier it wouldn’t change the fact that it’s a different game at that level.
Playing with radar and missiles is different than using only your eyes and unguided munitions so there’s always going to be people who prefer one or the other.

I’ve just witnessed a lvl 100 in a 3.7-4.7 bracket sim lobby accuse a level 21 with 3 days in a fighter cockpit of being a cheater for “being too good.” He cited his loops were too well done and he used too few rounds to get kills.
