Let's talk about the discrimination and institutional inadequacy of the Soviet Air Force from the fox1, fox2 era to the fox3 era today

Actually it does.

On some Tanks it gives access to additional spots that becomes weakness.

Maybe, I don’t know which they are, but overall I don’t think the pen difference is a big difference as the common weakspots cannot protect against either round whilst the extra armor on the Strv does protect a weakspot.

Plus Sweden has a better lineup and CAS.

As Long as you have good gun handling it doesnt matter too much.

Baz meshuper is excellent? bro atleast play the game before you yap bullshit around here

It can be excellent, when youre blind

Is it not? I might be missing something. It has a good flight performance and weapons.

Radar is trash compare to other F-15C’s.

Didn’t know that. I assumed it was the same

basically gaijin says Israel never upgraded the regular Baz radar, and so the meshupar has no radar HMD, no TWS, and only python 3s which are apperantely equivalent to 9M and AAM3

Edit: sorry if it came out rude, i just laughed so hard.

It has 9Ms, cope

Which is incorrect as the PSP does support HMD function IRL

I used to play War Thunder back in 2013 and quit the game at 2014, back in time the top tier was made of F-86 and MiG-15.

I came back to the game 60 days ago, and when I knew that we now have the Su-27, didn’t made any research about the currently meta, I just went straight to the Soviet Tech Tree, since is my favorite aircraft since I was a child, and insanely grinded to get mine, and I admit it, I got totally frustrated when I got to match my R-77 against the AIM-120, its really, really annoying.

But chatting with some players, they told me the Soviet Aircrafts was the top meta when the R-27ER got in the game.

So, my conclusion is: Like every multiplayer game, the meta changes and sometimes the character that was the best in the game became the worst, but in the future he came game to the game.

With that said, I still got frustrated while I play my Su-27SM, so, for now I’m leaving my Soviet planes for a while and got myself a F-15J and join the meta.

But if you really want to stick with Soviet Aircraft, R-77 still insane, you just can’t BVR like F-15 and F-16, you need to flank the enemies and play a different strategy.

I grinded KWS with MiG-29G, and spaded KWS immidiately afers, so i immidiately went from using R-27ERs to using AIM-120s. While obivously R-27ERs arent ARH and as such they have some limitations as to when they can be used, they are still powerfull due to sheer speed advantage.

IMO if you dont need to defend, R-27ER actually has better chance of connecting than AIM-120.

Been considerign finally starting soviet TT just to get Su-27SM, im exceptionally interested in trying it with mixed loadout of R-73s, R-77s and R-27ERs.

This is a lie though. The meta during the R-27ER’s existence was short range fox-2 furballs because strong multipathing made all radar guided weapons trivial to defeat. The best planes in the game were the F-16’s and those were only dethroned by the Gripen.

Not really. I use the R-27ER quite a lot and I compete with the F-15C/F-16Cs in BVR with it. Don’t forget the R-27ET as well, that thing is an extremely long range IR missile. Remember that the Su-27SM has more than just R-77s.

Best of luck to you. Its extremely rewarding to get it to work since the enemy can barely retaliate with AMRAAMs when you launch an R-27ER from 65km away.

Are they just AFK?

They also nerfed the flight model for the Su-27

If the enemy is not sleeping, he will escape from the R-27ER launched from 65 km

no

I mean same can be said to an AMRAAM fired from 40km.

In the ER’s case you can fire it well beyond an AMRAAM’s range and stealth guide it reducing their reaction time and fooling the enemy into thinking you fired the missile later than you actually did. Even if the enemy went defensive, the ER can just change targets.
