adding new gamemodes now? more than the previous one i’ve listed yet? oh yes baby let’s write a new list of ARB gamemode that would spread players apparts
- ARB mode (current)
- ARB mode without AAM
- ARB mode without Bombers
- ARB mode without Attackers, but bombers allowed
- ARB mode without Attackers+Bombers
- ARB mode without Fighters
- ARB mode without Ground objectives
- ARB mode with only Ground objectives to win the game (as was EC, with EC type respawn)
- ARB mode with only Ground objectives to win the game (as was EC, with GRB type respawn)
- ARB mode Respawnable (alike GRB respawn)
Each can be given futher limitations:
- ARB mode without MM limitations (like having to fight players coming from 1.0 to 14.3 in the same battle)
- ARB mode without limitations (no entry bar)
- ARB mode with an entry bar of 1 similar vehicules (go with 1.0 max spread)
- ARB mode with an entry bar of 1 similar vehicules (go with 2.0 max spread)
- ARB mode with an entry bar of 1 similar vehicules (go with 4.0 max spread)
- ARB mode with an entry bar of 1 similar vehicules (go with 6.0 max spread)

Just an example: Def/Lee when multipathing was only planning to change. [Oh no, that will be unplayble, the “ground hugging” below 100 m requires “so much skill”, blah, blah, blah…].
Meanwhile SIM community, that was asking this: “Yes, yes, yes!” [Not all, but a lot.]
Result: from 50m to 60m above ground/water and Denmark, Sinai…every flat map go BrrrrrrrR.[In SIM].

I cant speak on many of the points as I play air AB if i do play air at all, However I would love a SP based spawning system similar to Ground RB, as the one plane spawn is the main reason i dont play Air RB. Im trying to learn the gamemode and get better, but dying immediately and then having to find another match is super annoying so I have just been using ground RB to learn aircraft gameplay.
an overhaul, it’s an improvement from a Basis, not a complete new model.
But all the things you’ve listed are superficial changes and not actual game mode changes

What he said is reworking ARB to be more similar to SIM. which is an Idea i can get behind because by god ARB is such a snoozefest.
Literally anything is better than this one spawn nonsense that produces 3min games.
Half of your TT is pretty much useless as you’d obviously spawn the best vehicle you can in any given loadout.
I think you’re not understanding that the point is to encourage a new model alongside the existing one as to not destroy what is already here but supplement it with more interesting game modes that make it more fun for people

I am fine with a new mode instead of replacing the current one.
I think the solution is EC like sim. scrap the current air mode in its entirety for both arcade and rb, and have the matches play out like sim. ofc its not quite that simple but i think that is the only way to go. Bombers can be useful. fighters can fight and strike aircraft can do their thing against light ground units
I’d say we cull today ARB already. Replace it something like 3 respawn battle with RB flight model, smaller player count and airfield spawn over smaller area.
And make RB EC the new ARB mode.

you were already saying that if we divided the current ARB players by 10, that we would have enough players for each mode:

I mean as of now air RB is a CQB mode with too many downtime between battle. the flight from airfield to engagement zone is such a snooze that I keep thinking how people keep up with this.
