I’m not an expert, but popping Panthers with a hit to the rear drive sprocket dose seem a little bit excessive.
yeah, I just had a match where I got a single cap in the Type 87 RCV (p) and was a little surprised I could pull the Zunis and I was playing 7.7 in an 8.0 match so it wasn’t like I was getting a large up tier SP discount on anything.
well yes, but it would be blasting through into the engine bay (my bad I said drive sprocket, I forgot their transmission is at the front). I think overpressure is just overperforming in general TBH.
Well, u are right in that thing u say, but it is also not fair to fight this with a 6.3 in a downtier tbh im scared to fight the Albatros even with a ostwind because it is almost impossible to dedtroy it before it nukes u with hydra or a zuni, the thing is that gaijin must do something about this vehicle, remove the balistic computer, remove the zunis and make them have less hydras or change the br, one of these 3 options must be done because it is a nightmare to destroy a ho ri and then see how the dude in the ho ri destroys almost your entire team using the albatros
You know a lot of people playing this tank ?
I don’t. It is mainly because this tank is not often seen and by this not understood (a Wiesel can kill it from both side and back without any aiming, a tiger II can kill it if it actually knows how to aim, and at this BR there is actually a lot of HEAT that will just go trough the turret.), and armored at the good unexpected places.
This tank is perfectly fine at his BR, just as the Maus, it is not far from it.
I have on the Ho-Ri Prod a k/d of 3.39 on 641 battles; it is mainly bacausee I have experience and know the tank by earth that I know how to use it’s gigantic potential.
This is where I make my stand, I shall not abandon my post.
It can 100% be 7.7, that’s not a debatable issue (like I said I’m pairing it with the 7.7 RCV and it’s perfectly serviceable, if a little tricky at times) and Zunis could use an increase in SP as well. The issue is it’s in a spot where there is a major compression issue to begin with (the WW2 Cold war transition) and it also has the “bad air frame/ cracked A2G loadout” issue.
Honestly once I get it through my skull that it doesn’t have an RWR and get my head back on a swivel looking for tracers it will be less of an issue, but if it goes to 8.0 it will face the M247 and PZG09 and those things will murder it with the stealth belt VT ammo.
Just imagine if there were a system that made it so at certain Br’s u cant have a uptier like 6.7 where almost every tank is from WWII, well, no more uptiers for them until they reach 7.0 or something like that, i know times to find a match would be higer but hey, i can take 30-40 seconds to find a match if that means it will be a fair match
I’ve been playing it at 8.3
With the Zunis you can just sit at about four kilometres from the caps and bulli anything without the SPAAGs really being able to reach you. Though TBF I don’t recall seeing any M247s.
no ?
I can show you all the places you can shoot to disable this easily.
You just don’t know how to face it since it is a almost not played tank before the buff of the 7.3 lineup.
Just like an Obj 279 or Is-7.
And if you say it have a high K:D, remember that the Maus is at 2.32, Kv-1E 2.32 as well, KV-1 m1942 is 2.53, … . It is just a heavy tank, made to tank shell badly aimed; if you put it at higher BR, it will loose the term of heavy and you will start playing it as a medium tank, which is just sub optimal with a heavy tank gun handling. IS-4 is trash because of this, M-103 have to be played as a FV-4005, and so on.
It is just a different playstyle, especially to take it out.
Destroying a tank is not just point and click.
You can joust with the SPAAGs by shooting at the base if the tracer streams, the issue is that without RWR the M247 will only make itself known when you detonate… the PZG09 uses an IRST tracker so that’s an issue for eveybody.
But I am currently still spading the L-39 so I haven’t taken it into a 8.3 line up yet, once it’s spaded, I will try it there and revisit my opinion once I do.
Currently though I will simply say it’s too easy to spawn, you can pull it with 4x 500lb bombs with 1 spotted target destroyed and 4x zuni pods with 1 cap and that playing it at 7.7 has so far not been much of a challenge so moving it up to at least that BR is a no brainer… and the 7.7 RCV really feels like a good fit with it.
Oh, yeah, I’m using a pretty new crew too, I forgot about that, my wep maintenance skill is pretty low.
Sure you can pen the transmission housing, however that doesn’t disable his gun…
The difference in weakspots gives Ho-Ri a massive advantage due to lack of stab/GH in this BR and that little sliver pretty much nobody exploits.
Not to mention it is faster than almostevery tank that uses those guns.
I do know how to face it, however it doesnt change the fact that it is absolutely not a 7.3 tank and has no business facing what it does in such large numbers.
Maus is rather self explanatory, its just good and quite easy to play. The KVs are just sealclubber vehicles that people like to abuse. Moot points.
It isn’t. Its a tank destroyer with better mobility than most mediums and even some lights.
Little weird youre using the m82 and not the m431 shell, almost like you’re trying to twist things to make it look like the ho-ri is stronger than it actually is.
Na that can’t be it, that would be disingenuous and no one on the internet would do something like that.
This is a net positive, CAS suffering is always good.
I have absolutely 0 fighters aside from a few low tier russian ones, i as a ground player shouldn’t be forced to research planes… not only because i don’t like them. It’s always the CAS that should be, severely, nerfed and forced to adapt not the ground players
