Maybe learn how to play it?
This is my past few days literally just holding W until I either die so I can spawn the Albatross, or win the game.
Maybe learn how to play it?
I last played the Ho-Ri when it was 7.7, might have been 8.0 for a bit even idr. That just shows how bad playerbase of WT is. On BR where most tanks just lolpen you with APHE or have HEATS. Guess where T34 shot me Yes UFP. LFP hole is from Su-100P only destroyed my transmission. I outflanked enemy team, capped two points lol. T34 atleast had some brain,he shot my gun,50caled tracks, but i repaired before he could flank me.
Angle?
Short 90 can’t pen you unless he loads APCR, you can bounce the Long 90, the Panther 75, the Long 88, the RU 100, and even the 122, all with angling. Hell, you can get APDS to shatter or nonpen as well.
If they have HEATFS they have to shoot the gunner side, or they will get blasted, and if they do, you can often retreat and have your gun back up before they push you again.
You literally CANNOT onetap the Ho-Ri frontally unless its high calibre HE due to the 2 crew sitting in the engine compartment.
If they shoot your gun, theres not much to complain. You can do that on any tank, and with the Ho-Ris lack of muzzle break, its much harder than other tanks. Its a 7.7 at minimum.
And its not like the Ho-Ris pros stop at the armor. You have fantastic mobility for the armor, a good reload, an amazing shell, etc.
Gunner dies then what, you gonna die as they reload before you get it back. The weakspots i shown before just onetap with APHE. If you angle you end up like Jumbo, you get shot through tracks into ammo and blow up.
Chances we see this thing moved up in ground RB?
pretty high given it’s both Japanese and TT.
“one competent jet pilot” by jet do you mean 5.0 prop?
No it’s closer to a fast jagdpanther.
Because literally every 7.3 can pen the front super structure unless they’re fully angled in both horizontal and vertically. Which rarely happens because A) those spots are quite rare to find and B) heavily restricts your fighting ability. Also any ho-ri looking downward is also a easy kill with a large enough explosive shot.
There you go, using that term again…
Oh no, you’re not fooling me with that one.
It’s less prone to HE oneshots than a damn maus. Engine is eating everything all the time
In this case, I’m right, I don’t think the albatross needs a big br change, but for sure atleast japanese albatros shouldnt face any 6.3 , a br change to 8.0-8.3 would be nice!!! Also, the new yak and the italian version at 9.3 with a lot of GBU’s idk why they are there, at the same br u have the A4-E for example wich is at 9.3 just because it does hace 2 GBU’s doesnt make sense tbh this entire update felt wrong, only thing i saw that is fun and balanced in the entire update is the hummel btw. Have a nice day dude!!
Tbh, im 95% sure it will move, also the new yak and the italian version that i dont remember the names of them sorry, im mostly a ground main

Thanks for the complement i dont even know u but thanks!! Would have been nice if u were just respectful and said the other thing to give info, also if u read, u for sure saw “im mostly a ground main” so its obviously that i dont have a good knowledge of planes, just mid. Anyway, thank u so much for the info, have a nice day sir!!
Also, anyway, this topic is about the albatros, wich 99% of the players agree is mid for air but really strong for CAS because of the balistic computer, it is not the first time gaijin does a non real nerf to balance a vehicle, so they could just remove the balistic comouter or if not, just make it 8.0-8.3 for ground ^^
Honestly with the Ayit at 10.0 with 3x AGM-65 2x AGM-62ERs and RWR/ CMs it’s a bit of a mess, the Hawks at 10.7 only have all aspect AAMs over it, which is a big deal in ARB, not so much in GRB. So while the Yak-130 is fairly comparable to the Israeli A-4Es, trading RWR and CMs and AAMs for 1 extra worse bomb, compared to the A-7s, Hawks etc. they are all rather low.
yeah, I have been testing it out a bit the last few days with the Type 87 RCV(p) at 7.7, it’s pretty cracked, and I haven’t even spaded it yet.
Better to remove the zunis IMO, at 8.0/8.3 it will start facing both IR SAMs and radar guided HEVT/AHEAD SPAAs which would likely be too much for it and the CCIP is the only unique feature. and the hydras at least cannot one tap a heavy by hitting its track like the zunis.
Not like that, you aim for the roof where the crew is.
Or just remove this thing already
Problem with this is that Gaijin is very reluctant to remove something from a vehicle. It has happened at times but I feel like it would be a last resort for them.
That’s why I said that imho the best way to nerf the plane without sending it up in BR would be to either nerf the Zunis themselves (which would positively balance other planes that use them) or simply increase their SP cost.
SP cost is like, the single quickest way to do micro balance changes to a vehicle (especially a CAS vehicle) without running into major variables, I wish Gaijin were more proactive about using them.
