This thing cant be a 7.3, a single Albatros is able to change the entire match by just using his 76 hydras+ the balistic computer,also, the 23mm is able to atomize a lot of medium tanks. This thing is more like a 8.0-8.3. Lets not talk about how it is so OP that even if u try to shot it down with an AAA is almost impossible the 90% of the times because they will snipe u with an hydra and the worst thing is that they dont even need to make a direct impact,just impact the ground and boom
Using the 23 mm GSh-23L cannons and x76 70 mm Hydra-70 M247 is not the best strategy. I think the more dangerous weapon is the x16 127 mm Zuni Mk 32 Mod. 0 ATAP rockets instead—More explosive mass, more accurate, more deadly. L-39ZA/ART sits at a somewhat confortable battle rating but it’s not unrealistic to see a battle rating increase. SAAB-105G could easily have its battle rating from battle rating 8.3 to battle rating 8.7 in realistic battles as example.
L-39ZA/ART is effective for ground attack, and at some point way too effective, but terrible flying; the main drawback of this airplane is the flight performance with the AI-25TLs’ terrible acceleration. One competent jet pilot in the air is a huge threat to this airplane, speaking from a perspective of someone that has the airplane and also the ways to deal with it. L-39ZA/ART relies heavily on allied support and better flying performing airplanes to stay alive.

The thing is that in a downtier it gets so freaking horrible to deal against it,its a total nightmare, i just played a match and just did 2 kills , died 4 times, i died 1 time because of an enemy tank and died the other 3 times because of an albatros destroying ny spawn, couldnt even leave the spawn imagine that, he was using the x76 hydras
Yes I must agree that L-39ZA/ART is being hold solely because of its flight performance but can have its battle rating increased. L-39ZA/ART has 317,793 ground kills versus 81,568 deaths means around 3.90 kill-death ratio against ground vehicles. To note L-39ZA/ART has 0.44 kill-death ratio against air vehicles as of June 2026.

Yeh, idk what was gaijin thinking, this kind of things are the things that make new players leave the game, almost every mid player know that top tier rn balance is almost 100% destroyed, but when they are also doing this kind of things to the mid tier omg, its like they dont want the game to be fun xD
