When I saw that the KV7 and KV1 Sport mode, were being moved up, I was in awe because the KV1E is too good for 4.0. At least 4.3 would be a final resting place.
And yes, I have fun with it, 7kd. Doesn’t mean it should be this low.

It needs to be 4.3 along with the Kv-1B, and anyone saying otherwise has no idea what they are talking about.
I have a 93% winrate and a KD of 4.4, and no other tanks come close to those numbers.

Just checked. Statshark show that both of you are classified as “very good players” with overall great stats - so both of you are very good on all tanks.
Considering that the average and the median are used for balancing, your results would not be taken into account, as they are extremely high — just as extremely low values are also excluded.
90% of KV1E battles are uptiers to 4.7 already. At full uptier it struggles to pen some heavier tanks. At 5.3 it would struggle even more
I think this thing is a case that would benefit from reducing the BR spread of 1.0 - as it could not sealclub 3.3s but would not have to struggle with 5.3

Yeah, reading “it could not sealclub 3.3” for me was like saying “3.3 is too strong for the KV-1E”, instead it was a completely different thing
dw, misreading happens :-) But i was so ready to follow that discussion :-( reading the arguments for why it should stay at 4.0 to continue to absolutely club 3.3 would have been so fun. because it absolutely does dominate at 3.0 and even 3.3 so it makes no sense for it being at 4.0
KV-1B should be the one to go up, not the 1E, it still faces the KwK 40 which is enough to deal with it.

I used the E model a few battle pass seasons ago to get that challenge done for getting the adamant award multiple times, I literally just parked in the open, Angled, And sat there letting people shoot me without shooting back and got the task done in just a couple games.
The E/B are like the only tanks in the game where you can be a pacifist and still be in the upper middle of the teams scoreboard from all the shots you bounce.
Last time i abused the B model was back when the Jumbo was 5.0 and the M4A1/A2 76 and M18 where at 4.7/5.0 and still managed a 4.2 K/D in it, Even if it went up by .3 it would still not face many of the tanks it used to fight, Its crazy how long its been able to dodge the BR changes when multiple other KV models have been moved up.

The reason why it dodged those raises is because it’s OP, plain and simple
People don’t buy it because the tank is historical or because it has a different armament,people know you can’t pen it easily,amd if it’s angled you can’t pen it at all
Sure,you can still be OHK if you find a competent player or if you don’t know how to play it’but you simply have 2 requisites:

Hell,i find the KV-220 easier to kill than the KV-1E/B
The average doesn’t take into account rank of vehicles played. So people who mostly play < Rank VI will have better stats, as both of these players do. Doesn’t inherently mean they’re better in all tanks.
Because KV-220 isn’t even that good. It only works the way it does, because it’s rare and people don’t know how to deal with it.
KV-220 is just your average 6.0 tank, 1E and 1B are blatantly overpowered.
And i say it as a player who has them all and use all of those tanks as go to SL earners
