So it’s a close range F-15 to me.

It could only carry two medium range missiles. Short range is where it would shine.
If Gaijin would go as far as to add serial Mi8AMTSh it would be a big gap from 8.7 Mi8 to possible 10.7-10.3 BR, so maybe its just a gap filler for future additions.

I just hope they gonna make them at best slightly better than other fox3, at worst exactly the same, because i would hate if they are nerfed to be a less interesting/capable missile.
MICAs to my knowledge have the range and speed of the R-27ER, while also having superior g limits, thrust vectoring, and of course being ARH guided (or IR guided for the MICA IR). This is quite a bit more powerful than AIM-120A/Bs.
That’s the thing, I think theoretically it’s the most powerful fox3s that will arrive (since Gaijin said they’d give fox3s to everyone at the same time).
I don’t mind them being severely nerfed (and even then, it’s not as if 90% of the games were full of French planes…), but I hope it’s to bring them up to the same level or even a little stronger than the others, and above all not to make them inferior so that once again, it’s the same people who lead the meta.
Serial AMTSh doesn’t have any guided weapon, only AMTSh-VN.
Considering that they introduced the Magic II in a heavily nerfed state and even after getting IRCCM it still being inferior to what it is in real life, that is a definite possibility.
Did you even bother doing research before coming up with the conclusion “F-15 da best” and “Mig-25 is garbo”? I don’t care about either planes nor this drama you started, but the no confirmed kills bit caught my eye. Low and behold, a quick google search shows Mig-25’s do have multiple confirmed kills, even splashing a USN F/A-18. The kills weren’t in Russian service but other countries that had Mig-25’s. Your “claims” about the Mig-25 are factually incorrect.
Anyway just having not 4max missiles, and full good ones gonna be really nice.
I think we gonna start with 4x MICA EM and 2x magic 2 on the Mirage 2000-5F.
Then later introducing MICA IR ( “lock-on after launch” gonna be crazy) for full fox3 loadout.
With hope they gonna unnerf more the magic2 with time (longer range, 2plan for max G, CO2 detector etc…).
And removing this stupid 1.8s fuse delay, or put the delay on other missile, enjoy your 2s+ ! :p

VN is a new modification. V is to indecate new Klimov engines installed. What is N supposed to mean I am not sure, could be NVG, thermals installed.

I would imagine they are intending to add more advanced versions later down the line as there are quite a few advanced Mi8s that can fit into Brs as high as 11.0 potentially
The one we are getting is honestly a good stepping stone towards later versions
