KF41- Australian lynx

Well, I’m going to have to change my vote then.

-1 as this vehicle isn’t allowed to join the Australians in the same tree, it has no place in the game.

I would only agree with Lynx’s addition to Germany if it were German flagged really, as much as it isn’t Australian service I still don’t like the idea of the Australian flag in the German tree

Would get the australian flag, similar ro leo 2a4m can

I mean I saw an Australian ask to say his opinion and he was told it doesn’t matter and he should have no say over a vehicle that would fly that nations flag.

I think that says as much as need on how this thread is going.

Yeah, like I said, if Gaijin do decide to add it, it should be to the German tree, I just don’t agree that this specific vehicle should be added, at least not right now

Because he went on my nerves about a vehicle that following current implementation laws would be implemented in germany
It as of right now does not belong in the uk tree.

If you solve the sub tree issues or standalone fine. But until then its a german vehicle to claim.
Germany has the most legitimacy to it in the game right now

It seems he has come to his senses now.

The reality is there shouldn’t be any trial vehicles (those outside of the developer’s nation). Especially when in this scenario there was an ifv that won the tender (the ridgeback).

Its a win in my book, the guy doesnt seem to realise what the actual problem was until now.

The problem was australia not being officialy in the game. Thats the only reason why we want it for germany.

While yes the community is against trialed vehicles normaly, something like the kf41 aus specialy designed would be an exception and be valid as implementation, not like swedens stuff…

Dont know enough about the other 2 vehicles to evaluate how they would play into it

Tbh i think the best compromise would be just add it to both, that way no one can complain

I tend to disagree in this specialy since its a special designed variant for a nation.

But like i said the issue is that australia aint officialy part of the game

Its gajin. I would prefer that as well but chances are slim.

Personaly wouldnt mind.

Same like embt and chally 130 should go to all nations involved

I just feel its the best way to avoid arguments such as this constantly happening

Sure trialed vehicle can go to the developer’s country (Kf41 to Germany)

btw i must apologise for the confusion as there was actually no (AUS) in the name of this Lynx. This Kf-41 was not made according to Australian demands, but rather it was made to compete in the land 400 phase 3 program which had some standards.
Rheinmetall did not change this lynx much, especially since this is merely a trial vehicle, and thus, i am of the opinion that, this should be in germany as a premium or squadron vehicle, and, if and when aus is added as a full tree, this should be a tech tree vehicle in it (non exclusively)

But the thing is it won’t be classed as a Australian Lynx since it wasn’t in service, it would be the same as the Vicker’s MK.11 or the Shar 2

Honestly that ends up in gajins hands.
We got no way to predict how thwy gonna handle that

agreed

me checking this thread and seeing what my fellow brit mains have been asking for:

+1 as like a premium for only a Australian tree, I don’t think germany needs the australian one (they have the prototypes and tbh, the Puma isn’t much different) and britain has the Ajax and plenty of their own or actual service commonwealth vehicles instead.

at that point just add it to the german one , its the only APS vehicle we could get in a relativ early manner

Or you fancy APS leopards and another power creep wont complain there either.
Puma and KF41 do have plenty of differences. Prototypes did not come with APS either (and just look plain ugly)

It stays a german vehicle and was denied by australia, it does fall under trialed vehicle. But we know how people think about those with sweden or the F-16AJ as well
