This suggestion is for an Australian Lynx but that doesn’t mean it will be placed in the British tree, as it never saw service it can only reasonably be placed into the German tree, like the Challenger 2E was for Greek trials is in the UK tree, or the Class 3 (P) for South African trials is in the German tree
If Britain needs an Australian IFV then the AS21 works better anyways, not to mention Britain’s own IFV in the Ajax

Why it went there is a kind of a confusing story.
Then it will carry the German flag, not an Australian one. Just like the Challenger carries a UK flag, and the Class 3 carries a Japanese flag.
This was never about what Britain needs, Britain doesn’t need any of it, no tech tree does really. This was about, if this is classified as an “Australian” vehicle in the game, it should be in the same place as all other Australian vehicles.
You would be suprised but that is what happend with hungarian lynx and the australian boxer as well. Germans in fact drove them as well for development. You are shooting yourself there buddy xD
Those prodotypes are in there developmenr nation where they belong like the kf41 lynx in germany.

Because it is pre subtree, if they added an Australian subtree then things may change but until they do, only actual service vehicles from Australia should be even considered for Britain

This is true, of every ground vehicle I even put in my sub tree suggestion, the KF41 would be one of the ones I wanted the least anyway because of its trial vehicle status.
That’s not what he implied though, he implied if it wasn’t in active service it shouldn’t go to a nation. Since almost no prototypes were in active service, they can’t even be added to their developer nation because the developer nation didn’t “use them”.
Exactly, why add the KF41 when you can add the thing that beat it at trials, the Australian one is a good way to add the KF41 to Germany though, and given that is something a lot of German players want (even though they have the Puma) that is where I think this should go, if added

Circling back to, if you don’t want an “Australian” prototype/trials vehicle in the game, don’t vote yes. I voted yes under the guise of a future Australian tree being added anyway.
It also comes back to, Germany seems to have no claim to any of the KF41s, it doesn’t seem like they should get one at all.
National pride of our products and the only APS system on an IFV with interception capabilities that would be possinle for us.
The next best APS things for germany are leopards.

I’m going to change my vote to no. Germany doesn’t deserve it, and it wouldn’t be “Australian”. KF41 enjoyers will just have to settle for the Hungarian one.
I suppose that is fair enough, though I hear the APS system on the Lynx is all but worthless.

Every lynx gets modified to customer requirements and the reason the aus one is the only possible finished version germany could get
