It reminds when i had first live fire training

I can see procedure is about the same as ROK army, probably because both are heavily inspired from M109 SPH.

  1. Setting position
  2. Set reference angle via using collimator and panoramic telescope on SPH
  3. FDC distribute targets to all guns
  4. The base gun starts fire for adjustment.(using UAV or FO)
  5. Rest of guns start firing

Thats pretty much it :D

Is it saying that the warhead is 11.3kg? If I’m reading that right it’d be a nice improvement over the M107s 9.14kg warhead. Can’t wait!

I think explosive equivalent is 14kg

Does the Type 10 or Type 90 have a spall liner irl?

Likley but i dont think there is any proof as of now.

they have removed the blast wall infront of the ammo rack, seen here

late type 74 has it, would only make sense if its successors featured it aswell even the type 16.

do they change the compass?
they really change the compass so it’s only activate when you lock on target. WHY?!
it’s one of the most reliable way to look for enemy aircraft. by compass. WTF?!

lol gaijin wtf

Since when the Type 75 SPH’s optics got nerfed?

This update. The old 8x-15.9x was given to the Type 99.

So it seems that the compass can be reenabled in the options menu and it works for tanks, but when I test drove my Type 81 it doesn’t work anymore…?

Type 10

Type 81(C)

Seems to be a issue with all SPAA without radar. This is prob due to the “digital” compas that the radar gives you, when turned off it disapears and there seems to be no code for the normal one.

yeah they seem to have forgotton that some “radar” vehicles don’t hae any form of search, or that vehicles may want to turn off their search to remain undetected

To be fair, it’s always been an STB-2 since STB-1 has a type of auto loader or a loading assist. Not sure which, but glad they changed the name. Now we need the real STB-1 higher and faster fire rate.

Please send thoughts and prayers for the JGSDF modern Bicolor camo.

They probably got tired of us asking for the semi autoloader haha.

Hopefully one day we will get the actual STB-1 with its semi autoloader.

It’s always been the STB-2 because of the RWS model and lifting eyelets. Both the STB-1 and STB-2 have the semi autoloader, but the model is more accurate to the STB-2.

I was surprised that this thing is not completely fictional. Patent from Mitsubishi in 1970s.

This oscillating turret with an auto-loader and gun isolated from the turret !? This idea is not something i would ever expected to be coming from Japan.
