lol you have to pre-order the pack to get the 1st mechanized battalion (OPFOR) decal ?!
Germany got a fake SPAAG. We might aswell get the Ta-Ha at this point, at least the Ta-Ha is built but unfinished.
How did they screw up the zerstorer 45 so bad!? Its basically just a wirbelwind with a larger turret but some how they made this?
The German SPAA 100% fake like like just blueprints with no mock ups and such? or how far did it progress?
On the english stream i believe they said it was never built. I think only the gun existed.
Pretty sure this is doable then and the Ta-Ha lol so unfair man…
lmao that thing does look amazing. I love how they mounted stuff on the Panzer IV chassis; they even mounted a Flak 88 I think
Apparently they built at least one prototype, but documents are very unclear on the matter. If they’re are going to allow more ambiguous vehicles like this in the game, they should allow the Ta-Ha. “Paper” vehicles should be enriching a smaller nation, not just Germany.
Also it seems to me that the model we have in-game is just the guns without the turret
The only fix i have seen so far is the turret of Ka-Chi is now modeled under the gun mantlet like the Chi-He turret, so the armor in this area is 75mm instead of just 50mm [the red and orange armor is now overlapped].
For your reference.
According to Mitsubishi’s explanation, this is the Type 98 Ke-Ni. However, it has a large cylindrical turret and looks like a Type 2 Ke-To. Should we call it the Type 98 Ke-Ni production type or the Type 2 Ke-To prototype?
Spoiler
“Type 98 Ke-Ni Light Tank”
“Manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd., Tokyo Engineering Works in 1941”
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Company History Editorial Office. 1954. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. History Photo Collection. p.437
Airborne tank unit officials testified that they received a Type 2 Ke-To, the newest light tank, to be carried by glider. However, the one pictured with the glider appears to be a Type 98 Ke-Ni prototype.
Spoiler
“Type 2 Ke-To for loading onto a Ku-7 glider. The fuselage of the Ku-7 glider is shown behind this tank.”
“The airborne tank units were equipped with the latest light tank, the Type 2 Ke-To. This tank is capable of airborne operations and weighs 7 tons. The armament is 1 x 37 mm gun, 1 x machine gun, and 3 crew members. This photo was taken in April 1945 when the emperor’s brother inspected the airborne group. Bottom right is a running Type 2 Ke-To.”
All-Japan Airborne Comrades Association. 1982. Airborne Forces Photo Collection. pp. 51, 55
It has been pointed out that the 37 mm Type 100 tank gun that the Type 98 Ke-Ni was to be equipped with was not mass produced (limited production of only 40 guns in 1942). On the other hand, production of tank guns for the Type 1 37 mm tank gun was 600 guns. I believe most of the Type 98 Ke-Ni were equipped with 37 mm Type 1 tank guns in wide cylindrical turrets instead of narrow conical turrets. I’m not sure, but is the only difference between a Type 98 Ke-Ni and a Type 2 Ke-To the placement of the return roller and suspension?

The thing is, I don’t think there are any photos of that modified return roller layout, this might just be a mistake on the author’s part
Japanese ground tech tree is officially screwed this update, even in datamine only Japanese ground is not mentioned, but everyone else got new leaked ground vehicles, ooof.
they might still have stuff more internally. AAM-3 came out of no where when there was no indication it was being worked on.
Lets hope, but it is gajin we are talking here so I seriously doubt anything other will come for japan.
I feel like that is what we are basically getting, 1 maybe + 3 ships and botes, AAM-3 for air and 70 euro Type 90 for ground.
But surely there got to be more stuff for air and ground trees, surely.
Isuzu Type 94 SPAA fuel tank issue fixed within two weeks of reporting. )))
I found a second source for Ta-Se SPAA’s 20 mm Ho-Ki II cannon. Reported.

True, but the AAM-3 was in the dev streams and not something that was put in after. I think we’ve seen all that we’ll see for Japan this update, unless they give us the ARH missile for Type 81(c) or maybe even a Thai Alpha Jet.
Though one of the leakers did mention a top tier jet for Japan but maybe that’s next update or we’ll see next week when dev server gets updated again.
Back in June 17th of 2017 lol I thought I lost the images but turns out I had them posted in Amino App for War Thunder Group. The year when we were lacking so much and introduction of the 1st T-64 and MBT-70s.
Type 74 when they realized the evaluation support unit camouflage will only be available for the premium Type 90 (they are depressed)
