yeah they seem to have forgotton that some “radar” vehicles don’t hae any form of search, or that vehicles may want to turn off their search to remain undetected
To be fair, it’s always been an STB-2 since STB-1 has a type of auto loader or a loading assist. Not sure which, but glad they changed the name. Now we need the real STB-1 higher and faster fire rate.
They probably got tired of us asking for the semi autoloader haha.
Hopefully one day we will get the actual STB-1 with its semi autoloader.
It’s always been the STB-2 because of the RWS model and lifting eyelets. Both the STB-1 and STB-2 have the semi autoloader, but the model is more accurate to the STB-2.
I was surprised that this thing is not completely fictional. Patent from Mitsubishi in 1970s.
This oscillating turret with an auto-loader and gun isolated from the turret !? This idea is not something i would ever expected to be coming from Japan.
That would be crazy in game, but the odds of appearing ingame are -1000% even though I’d like to be wrong
I WANT IT :D Though, pretty sure the Fake tank haters will scream none stop about it lol Event vehicle or premium if you ask me. Up to Gaijin if they ever decide on this. I’ll accept if added, I’ll accept if they refuse it due to being only paper design.
I will say, with the addition of the Type 99 SPH, the 7.3 Line up is looking pretty powerful. Since we don’t have a 7.0 Line up, it helps the Ho-Ri Production, M47 Patton II a lot. No longer using the Type 75 SPH. Still use the Type 75 MLRS as another support vehicle. Overall, am able to carry harder now with Type 99 SPH, Ho-Ri Production, M47 Patton II.
Even though there are more heavies at 7.3 Br range, the Type 87 RCV (P) would help if they lower it from 7.7 to 7.3 like the BTR-80A…There is nothing else to use with that tank at 7.7…it supports the 8.3 line up but thats about it. Really needs to be at the same Br as the soviet version…i find it unfair that it gets a 7.3…and sus…
Trust me, B5N2 is overlooked for CAS option in the mid Br battles. Potential 6 ground kills if I managed to land every single 60kg bomb on the tank. Fairly easy to do when it can pull up instantly and with a turn rate of a bi-plane.
does anyone know more about this? in Tank Encyclopedia it says that this is the Addon Armor for the Turret. this real? doesn’t look like Storage to me
Just a side module, not additional armor
The side armor should be within those blocks so we can’t really see if it does have below it
isn’t it kinda sad that We still dont have The B78 IFV ingame? there’s already the Dardo for italy, japan should have it too. im excited for that 30hp/t mobility and small dinky size it has.
the GSR 105’s going to be hard to implement though. not much is known about it
At least right now, storage is their only known use. This is mainly because IRL they have little doors on them, which you wouldn’t expect to find on armor modules.
That being said, the turret is designed to be modular, so it’s possible that there will be armor there in the future.
Idk when we’ll get our first look at the 48t variant, but I’m guessing there’s probably a side armor package in the works (because of a certain conflict). That would probably put it over 48t though, so maybe not.
I’ve found that the side armor protects it against 30 mm autocannon on the side and gives some protection on the roof, it was meant for more Urban combats, it was posted in a japanese book of the type 10 i’ll ask a friend to let me borrow it
if the 48t arrives in JSDF i wonder if it’ll have the APS on it.
Update, My friend Lost it.
has anyone here played the type 89? for me the missles just went up out of the guidance range and then crash down into the ground, but i dont know if its because the elevation of the launchers isnt connected to the elevation of the gun and sight anymore
They recently just fixed them and now they are usable
I actually had that happen to me as well and thought the same thing, but seems random when it happens.
