Jets with IRCCM is just unfair at 11.3 (SU-39, A10C, Jaguar IS, SU-25) There needs to be decompression from 11.0 - 13.0

This IRCCM issue is pretty much only a problem with the harrier. Ive had no issue outside of that. These aircraft with IRCCM are NOT that strong, they have pretty awful flight performance and staying high and not showing your rear to them is fine. They have IRCCM to make up for their abysmal flight performance compared to the roster. Putting them higher just means nobody touches them with a 10 foot pole

Fix how IR signature works ingame, and if you spot a SU-39 just stay outside of 5km (if youre in a harrier) or engage him with caution and pre-flare. once youre super close unless the SU39 has the skill advantage and is able to stick guns on, youll outturn, outspeed and out AOE him when you eventually end up on the rear. same with the Jaguar, A10C and the rest

I think with some decompression they could be moved up and still not be with the Fox3 slingers

decompression, would be nice, but it would be pretty painful to fight against non fox3 f16, f15, su27 etc… with planes that match the flight performance of 7.0-8.0ish jets every time. flaring IRCCM isnt that hard, atleast right now and does not require an entire own br. Fighting all aspect missiles in a thing with no flares is more annoying.

True.

yeah i can see that, decompression is always good. BUTTT, alot of them are really pointless besides their IRCCM missiles (in airRB ofc), and its really only the harrier (i personally) have any heart attacks dealing with them but thats its own kettle of fish.

I am also guilty of enjoying the SU-39 and A10C a bit too much in the air to air role so perhaps im biased, but whenever playing ANYTHING else at the BR, these are NOT the problem planes (personally the R24R is way more annoying with its IOG and J band sometimes just NOT telling you they fired it)

Decompression would be good all around. As well as nerfing tons of jets that I am finding to overperform lol.

All jets should have the advantages and disadvantages of their IRL counterparts there is no need for a nonslatted phantom to turn better than an IRL slotted phantom.

it is funny to see some players who dont know how to deal with them

The F-14 doesn’t have nearly the same problem lol.

atleast the f14 engines are quite hot and have afterburners, so I wouldnt compare it to the harrier…

A10C is now just the same as the old 10.0 A10A, 9m+stealth belt, 5 mig23 streak a match

9M has different IRCCM.

On typical aircraft its flareable, however its nigh impossible on Harriers.

not even comparable in any way.

Both are aircraft with vastly overheated engines.

you can turn the reheat off on the tomcat, its like its always on with a harrier as all four thrust nozzles act like engine heat sources despite two being cold air only

Tomcat is also overperforming lol.

The the harrier is like tomcat engines X2

The harrier doesn’t even produce that much thrust relative to other stuff it meets, because even when hovering it still makes less than a Mig-23 going mach 1. I wonder if it has anything to do with how the flares shoot out, since they seem to go much lower and faster than other aircraft.

That’s what I was wondering too as the harriers single engine doesn’t make that much compared to twin jets going faster.

Maybe every nozzle makes that much thrust for the harriers

Didn’t gunjob disprove the theory that it’s heat signature is multiplied by 4 because of the 4 nozzles?

I’ve also noticed that the Yak-38 is incredibly hot, so it could be something with vtol aircraft in general.
