am I the only feeling like 13.7 for the Japanese F-2A is too much?
You have only 4 Fox-3s and 4 Fox-2s and no HMS and you have to compete against aircraft that either have more missiles or HMS or both.
I feel like it should be placed at 13.3 for Air realistic Battle
What about ADF then

Its 13.3 and worse than F-2A.
It’s quite literally one of the better 13.7s in the game.
It’s not a WVR specialist like Gripen.
It does WVR & BVR rather well.
honestly with the addition of the XL, the ADF seems like 13.0 material if they are going to be letting 120As be there.
Id rather NOT have ARH F-16 at 13.0 but i get your point.
XL is already there… main thing would be decompressing, and then putting the XL and ADF at the lower end, still higher than something like the F-14 or R27ER launchers.
F16 Xl should be 13.3 as well also we need major decompression not more compression
Also the f2a may not have missiles count but it has a asea radar paired with really good FM from what I heard
The heavy fighters [excluding F-18s & Mig-29s for now] from 13.0 - 14.7 need to move up by 0.3 on their own.
And IF after that happens, the single-engined fighters [and Mig-29s arguably] can move up if they’re proven to be more powerful than the single engined bois.
Also no fighter jets should be 13.0 with modern fox 3 it was supposed to be only attack aircraft or something like a f14D with aim54 as aim54 aren’t reliable if they where they would be higher in br like the F-90
While it shouldn’t go down in BR and the BR’s should decompress is the AAM-4 not pretty much the worse missile for BVR at this point barring the fox 3’s that didn’t receive any buffs pretty sure it now has the slowest time to target excluding like maybe the R-77 along with lower end off bore abilities all while being on an airframe that isnt exactly fast enough to get into position to make the long shots against things like the SU’s, F-15’s and F-14’s. It is however a monster of a wvr with one of the best dogfighting frames in game and the AAM-3 which is exceptionally lethal should your target attempt to run or exist within its lock range.
It may only have four Fox-3 missiles and no HMS… BUT!!! In my opinion, it has the best radar I’ve ever used. You can track the entire enemy team from the very first second, and not only that—you can actually see what kind of aircraft they are. The refresh rate is amazing, and this alone gives you a massive advantage when planning your route and your engagements.
On top of that, it’s an improved F-16 airframe, so you’re an absolute nightmare in dogfights. Its missiles aren’t great for BVR, but this plane isn’t a brick or a missile bus like the F-15 or F-18. It’s made for mid- to close-range engagements.
If this plane had HMS, it could easily become a worthy 14.3 BR aircraft, because that’s really the only area where it’s weak. In the right hands, the F-2A is a menace.
How do I know this? Because it’s my favorite plane and the one I’ve played the most as a Japan main. The F/A-18D at 14.0 has an awful radar by comparison, and I absolutely refuse to play Russian planes.
You also have the best FM for most conditions at 13.7 and an AESA radar, and it has 4+4
Compare to rough “equivalent” like the F-16C which has 2+4/0+6 with an M-Scan Radar, and it is notably stronger. Could even make a tenative argument its stronger than the Gripen Cs
There is an argument to be made that its actually maybe under BRed.
Though that is largely compression
F-16XL is 13.3 material with the FM it has rn
It’s overperforming by like 30%
Not to mention it has less Fox-3’s than the F-16A ADF
With current FM it’s kinda like a JF-17 equiv

It would be 14.0 at most simply due to the low amount of Fox-3s
Even with 8 Fox-3s and HMS I don’t see it being 14.3 material because AAM-4s aren’t that great anymore and the plane is slow
Not to mention the fact that it still has launch limitations unlike R-77-1, MICA, PL-12A and AIM-120D
