Really? I think it’s a joy to fly. Does everything you ask it to do and then some. Though it’s not been as great as it used to be after the drag/speed nerf. Which is another reason why I’m looking forward to the Gripen E.

Idk, even in my Su-27 and 33 i find myself clapping them. Su-30 is same deal but im still grinding its mods.
Gripens just seem like meh f16’s imo i know they should be able to turn more irl given we’ve seen it but in game they feel kinda unwilling imo, guess the Su’s have spoiled me lol
I was wrong, it has 23 Hardpoints (with amber racks), i wasnt trying to imply that EPAWSS somehow give the F-15EX more hardpoints, just saying that with its EW capability AND being an absolute missile truck it would definitley be healthy being the first 14.7-15.0 (at this current br compression)

It’s the exact opposite for me. Sukhois are generally pretty easy pickings, as are the Teen Jets. So much so that I’m willing to bet a three digit sum that most of my Gripen kills have been Sukhois
16 missile is the max, 16 fox3 or 8 ir and 8 fox3. that if we do not consider the f15ex to carry fuel tanks

thats becoming increasingly the case for multiple nations, the same could be said for france last dec patch but they still got the rafale, the gripen will still be weak in terms of flight performance in comparison to the eft/rafale i dont think its really much of a power creep aside from the EW kit depending on how they implement it.
So now again with the br changes Japan, Israel, and Sweden are left without a top tier air. Sweden can get a more modern gripen e and Israel can get F15IA, but what about Japan? The only solution I see is either adding thai’s gripen e or Indonesia’s rafale. The gripen e makes more sense since Gaijin can just add it right after the gripen c, but gripen e still aren’t on the same level as rafale, typhoons, and SM2. Sure adding the rafale can be a fix but I grinded Japan to use Japanese planes. Even if we add aam5 and amm4b, missile count won’t make it top tier worthy. If I wanted to fly the rafale or gripen e I would have grinded those nations instead. In the end, I think these three nations will be underperforming in top tier air till 5th gen comes and everyone is flying the f35. If Japan gets the rafale as a fix then well israel and sweden are left in the dust.
If Israel is introducing the F-15IA, wouldn’t it make sense for Japan to implement the F-15JSI as well?
True, but I thought not much was known on the f15jsi vs the f15ia which is just a f15ex. Plus I think I read somewhere that the f15jsi can’t equip AAM4 and 5. I still highly doubt f15ex, f15ia, f15jsi will perform on the same level as the typhoon, rafale, and sm2. It seems that the meta nations will be france, UK, Germany, Italy, Russia, and maybe China till 5th gen comes out.

Only difference currently are the wings, thats it, its based on the early model of the 6002, any changes to flight performance from the extended wing would be barely any different. Aside from systems they are identical

What will happen is the Gripen E will get the next gen missiles and be outclassed by all other jets and leave sweden without a proper jet to bridge the gap

Sorry, but I can’t think of any other good changes for Japanese aircraft. I’m not too familiar with the sub-nation tree either.
Personally, for Israel, I think it’d be good to give the Sufa the I-Derby ER and Python 4 to boost its BR, or give the Ra’am Python 4 to raise its BR.
But, Gaijin says there’s no evidence the 16I carried the I-Derby ER, and since the radar model changed from 16D and 16C, they apparently won’t implement it.
I think it could be stacked, but honestly, I’ve given up since I couldn’t find any photos of it mounted on a Super in IAF or other photos.
