What happened to you?
You probably lose what team
Spall liners no iirc, but the composites are pretty bad guesstimates in game. For example the hull composite is flipped upside down and there’s empty space left next to it for the track tension mechanism despite it being entirely external on the real tank.
Back on the old RU forum there was a bit of controversy around a dev who worked on the Type 10, basing a lot of estimations on personal bias more than sources.
So sadly aside from knowing it is wrong, there’s no exact sources on what it is supposed to be since it’s just classified still, so we’re stuck with NNHack estimates for the time being.
In the future alongside better tanks for other nations we might see the mobility fixed and the reload get faster though, since those are at least actually known capabilities.

you dont need to be a chef to know what good and bad food tastes like.
But please do tell me, does my lack of experience void the ranking i posted?
if so what is the ranking by someone that has played them
To be fair this is exactly what that means, by the standard that nearly every other tank in game sets the Type 10 underperforms a lot. It has about the same track horsepower to weight as the Type 90, while in game it doesn’t because of how it works in game.
When saying it underperforms, this generally means in the context of the game. For example if it suddenly got 10 minute track repair time it would also be considered underperforming in game, even though that is still really fast in reality.
Not more than the average tank in game. It’s comparatively in line with what you would see on a Leopard 2A4 for example. So while it does overperform a lot compared to the real tank, it’s not fair to single it out when this applies to just about all tanks in game to the same extent.
This is all im going to say
I didn’t specifically name anyone
Don’t think too much bro
He’s just going by the technicality that War Thunder doesn’t model tanks as they are. Tanks don’t actually use the full engine power for the mobility, which means that they perform better in game than they would in reality.
For example the Type 90 with a 1500hp engine, 900hp end up at the sprocket, so a 40% loss. This is also in line with similar engines on other tanks. The Type 10 however has 800hp at the sprocket, losing only 34% of the 1200hp the engine provides.
That means the Type 90 would sit at 17.89hp/t in reality and the Type 10 at 18.01hp/t.
This is also going by planned Type 10 specifications, which was 800hp or more
Spoiler
So technically he’s right, both overperform, and the Type 90 more so than the Type 10. But also every tank in game does, comparatively the Type 10 is underperforming.
if only there was 1 person in this post who was ranking tanks

doesnt really answer the question tho, you cant Inferentially criticize something and refuse to elaborate when asked
Nope, just a fact
Doesn’t matter
they Type 90s i think can go back down so we can actually have an 11.0 or 11.3 lineup. 11.7 with the new baskets are kinda rough.
Type 90s were raised to 11.7 for a reason.
Neither Abrams nor Leo 2 saw any BR changes after introduction of turret baskets.
Why should Type 90 be any different?
Well the type 90s started at 11.0 unlike the m1a2s can you provide me with the reason it was increase two times? From memory since its been a while since ive gone up the japaneese tech tree. It has a weaker round than the m1a2s. It was incresed on BR due to the addition of the Fuji. The type 90s did not receive any sort of buff since it was bumped up .7 br. This has left a massive gap from 9.7 to 11.7. Also leaving 3 vehicle’s without a proper lineup. So id like to see the reduction in the br for the type 90s or a bit of a better round for them. The only powerful thing the type 90 has is the reload. It is paper and slow compared to others at the rating.
Natrually you will say they were overpowered or even overpreforming at 11.0. But they sat at that Br for close to damn near 4 years untouched. Only after the premium got added did they feel the need to change it. Putting it to 11.3 i understand but 11.7 is gimping it out of hatred im all for better realism in the game and having a void in the tank isnt fun but seriosuly id like to to receive some sort of preformance buff.
This is my opinion but nothing good is going for the type 90s anymore it still does the job and isnt a deal breaker for me playing them but as a minor nation i dont ever feel the urge to go back and play my type 90s espeically vs BMPTs.
Huh? The mobility is the field they are actually underperforming at the most.
They accelerate slower than Type 90 even though they should accelerate MUCH quicker; and they are incapable of steering properly, instead turning way too sharply and losing all of their momentum and speed because they have the moments of inertia of a weightless vehicle…
Armor values are nowhere close to their real life versions, for the Type 90 either.
Sorry i dont keep exact records on every vehicle in the game
I only know that last change that saw increase from 11.3 to 11.7 happened because it was curbstomping 10.3/10.7 tanks to the ground (just compare its statshark performance by month before and after last BR increase).
All A2s sit at 12.0 at the lowest.
And id love big titty goth gf.
Surely you can put forth a comparison if thats the case.
The same reason pepole are begging for the bmpt to get increased is the same reason the type 90 was.
No one knew how to fight it since there was a sudded influx of players.
The m1a2 is a very superior platform compared to the type 90s. Gun handling,saftey,mobility,protection,firepower,1 second lessbreload time.
They type 90s have some of the worst gun handleing of any top teir tank. Try and do a 360 with its turret and see how long it takes. Then see how long it takes for you to reach full speed (it takes a while). Then try to turn going full speed and see how the type 90s lose almost all momentum and speed almost immedietly.
I dont see why you have such a venddetta against the type 90s sure its capable at 11.7 but its a peice of trash and leaves a massive gap in there tech tree that needs to be filled. From a 9.0 to a 11.7 is a disgusting jump that leaves many pepole who get there first type 90 to not be able to use it until they get the type 90 B just to have a backup for the rating since the type 74s are even more misrable.
Pick one.
Thats why they sit at higher BR.
Type 90 gets its reload straight out of bag independent on crew level or whenever the loaders cranium remains intact.
You can put up some comparison then.
You have to realize that not everyone who disagrees with you is doing that due to personal reasons.
You provided no argument so far beside wishing for lower BR/better shell.
I wish for big tiddy goth gf.
Not issue unique to japan nor type 90, certainly not justification for lower BR of type 90.
You havent provided any significant feedback to anything im saying besides hatred and malice so im done talking to you. You clearly dont have any intent on talking about fixing the nation and only plan to put it down.
I have expressed my opinion and all you have done is try and dismantle what im saying instead of trying to have a proper diolouge on the subject.
Like i stated before this is my opinion on the type 90 and i provided my thoughts on it.
