Well thats just silly. 😂Chi-ha kai can be also penetrated by 12.7 mm from the front in flat spots its just 25 mm anything penetrates it and that bit less armor gives BTs edge that they often get overpenned from sides as it flies across the battlefield. Bts have faster gun reload. Worse gun depresion is just common sence for russia but it all gets completly outshined with its speed that is almost as fast as Puma off road but better because it has tracks and can turn on the spot. BTs are still very much better than Chi-ha kai and they range from reverse to 2.0 while Chi-ha kai was moved to 2.3 for no bloody reason. Maybe better comparsion for Chi-ha kai would be american reverses and 2.0 which again are faster, better reload, more penetration, more or same armor with only edge japanese 2.3 tank have is 5° depresion and HE fillar which is not really reason to be above their br.
The BT-5 can’t be overpenetrated as it has like 15mm of armor all around and the Chi-Ha Kai can’t be penetrated by .50cals even from 100m other then a small flat part near the turret ring, which will turn the gunner yellow.
Or how exactly is 25mm of armor penetrated by a 12.7mm AP that penetrates at most 25mm at 300m against perfectly flat armor when the entire front isn’t flat?
The BT-5 is at most a 1.3 or 1.7 tank, but that doesn’t change the fact that the Chi-Hai Kai is superior.
you basically just said Japan has everything good including starting arty only unique to 3 countries. You included several vehicles great for having a decent setup. Chi-Ri isnt bad, it has good gun and it should be compared to stuff like M6 heavy tank, low armor decent mobility good firepower. All Japanese tanks have great HE filler in their AP shells,
Tier IV France isn’t good at all except for ELC and AMX M4, tier V is where it starts to shine.
And on tier I France I didn’t even talk about AMC.34, its a collectionary vehicle like Ha-Go. Im talking about awful cannons and (RB only) mobility of 1.0-1.3 tanks of France. For example, S.35, ACG-1 are awful due to their protection (D2 gives 2nd chances due to RHA instead of cast armor) that they can’t trade off with gun damage or penetration (Italy and Japan would be worse but they have APHE and HEAT which can post-pen something more than just 1 crew member’s coat).

Killing chi-nu in sherman isnt about begin skilled or chi-nu begin unskilled. Chi-nu is simply worse in every way than same br sherman yet it remains at same br (not even talking about 105 mm sherman which is at 3.0 and is basically Maus at down tier - fr tho that thing should not be able to meet 2.0s with that armor).

Its silly yeah. Nothing was done about ww2 lineups, brs, camos, starting premiums… some even got their br raised again from year ago this was made. I dont remember last time Japan got unique TT ww2 Japanese tank.
Honestly, Japan doesn’t have enough versatile tanks. All Br. 3.3 tanks are situational; every other country with Br. 3.3 has versatile tanks. The Chi-Nu only has one chance in close combat with enemy tanks. If you can’t penetrate a tank like the T-34, Sherman, or P-40, you’re dead. The Na-To is good, but even machine guns penetrate it. The 3.7 squad is just one tank that’s okay. The 4.0 squad is even good, but seriously flawed. The 4.7 squad is great. The 5.0 squad just disappeared. I hate gajin. First, it partially destroyed the Chi-Ha LG, and now it’s blowing up the Chi-Ri. A tank with 3.7 armor and average penetration is now supposed to be a 5.7?! Have fun fighting Tigers, Jumbos, Panthers, and, at higher levels, Tiger IIs, IS-2s, and M26s. The 5.7 squad is average. The 6.3 squad was even enjoyable. The 6.7 squad… I didn’t know I’d say this, but the Type 60 ATM is quite cool and enjoyable, as are the second Type 60 and the Type 61. The 7.3 squad is probably the best Japanese squad in the game.

Chi-Nu has most visible non-logical reload. Tank has worse armor than Sherman, same gun, same mobility, missing stabiliser but has 1 second armor reload

You was needed to overtier Chi-To what is pretty bad. It is good that now Chi-Ri can be used with M4A3, M36 and most interesting vehicle there - SUB-I-II
A good buff? Automatic gun + additional crew member. However, it forces you to have ammo in the turret and now you have worse gun depression. It’s more of a mediocre buff.

Exactly. Previously it fired with reload of 13 seconds most of the time because replanishment of autoloader was ~30 seconds in total

Should we forget about the lists upon lists upon lists of vehicles that could supplement the Chi-Ri II, LIKE THE CHI-RI I? But we are also still missing vehicles like the Ho-To and Ho-Ru, as well as the fact that many of these vehicles lack tarps. Though that goes for all vehicles, cause even the German vehicles, for some dumb reason, their cages are smacked open. When it shouldn’t.

I just can’t understand why CHI-RI has to 5.7, unlike Sherman or M36, the only thing it has is the reload time( not too fast, which is even worse than current 3.3s) if it is still 3.3 at 5.7, then should be fine.
