The Jagdtiger isn’t that hard to kill if you know how and raising it’s BR would make take away the only thing it got going for it, it’s frontal armor.
and i fully agree with you about the Tortoise, unless it got a downtier, that thing is having a rough time and it should have a little degrees in BR. i love TDs but i never touch that thing, it just feel like punishment most of the time.
Nonono… Killing and easily killing are 2 different things. It took the whole team pounding, taking tracks and barrels to kill that thing. And as per your statements i can kill a 12.0 mbt in a tier 1 spg… Ahh it’s not that hard to kill mbts it needs balancing let’s move them to 1.0. But I’ll give u that, jagdtiger is barely staying at 6.7 but it is staying for now until decompression hits.
Also armor is not the only thing it’s got, it’s got a massive 600+ g TNT shell with 270+ pen that only talks about vaporising stuff. Armor and firepower combo is pretty deadly. Barely 6.7 but its stays for now ig.

if the whole team is pounding on it’s front and noone can figure out how to shoot the right place, yes, then its hard to kill.
It got 80 mm armor on the side and back, even angled shots can kill it easily.

Hard to do the flanking stuff when you can’t get on the side yeah. I agree the side is easy to pen but that’s in a vacuum. If you can get you allies to cover flanks then it’s a different story yeah?
If You can’t kill Jagdtiger with whole team trying to, then that is a skill issue.

U r getting something wrong here. It is not a whine post after one game of getting stomped by a jagdtiger coz of my skill issue. I’m not a german main u see. It is an objective comparison. It was never about me facing the jagdtiger and then crying about it. I can deal with those things albeit with difficulty. It is about the disparity between the tortoise and jagdtiger.
So Tortoise having faster withdrawal speed, twice as good reload is so bad that it should be lower?

If reverse speed and reload was it’s main attractions it should have been designated a light tank. It’s main focus is armor and firepower.
Firepower: inferior to jagdtiger
Armor: inferior to jagdtiger
Speed: inferior to jagdtiger ( jagdtiger has better power to weight ratio and better top speed)
So You say that You are using tortoise in a wrong way and want it to be like Jagdtiger as You can’t use its attributes, got it.
I would disagree especially that it has twice as fast reload.
That is why it can reverse almost twice as fast.
