apart from the usual talking point that will be brought up about the fact that it is a Russian vehicle, we can all agree that having this level of performance in CAS at 10.7 is absolutely ridiculous. It can switch from i kill everyone, practically uncontested, Grom-B to I cannot die from AA, Kosava this level of OP is beyond balance, and no AA will ever compete against it at 10.7, so it needs to receive a severe increase in battle rating, like +0.7 at a minimum

4 tv missiles is normal for 10.7, that’s 5km track range, so it needs to fly well into spaa range. And if they use the MITL missile from far away just shoot it down. I cant see how this is OP compared to the a-10 Late at the same br with 6 IR missiles that have 10km track range, while also carrying 4 air to air missiles, you can kill the J22 with a cheap cap jet like a saber, you cant do that with the a10.

The plane having a decent FLIR doesn’t change the fact the TV missiles cant be used reliably past 5/6km, and like i said the Kosava is very slow and clunky to guide and can be easily shot down. The problem is most spaa players are bad, and people dont spawn fighters, leaving these attackers to get kills easily, but even so you can only get 4 kills per sortie, thats not crazy game changing amount of kills you can get in some other CAS aircraft. I can’t see how the j22 is some “ptw menace”.

i put a point on my bingo aa are the problem not a ptw veicles if only all the 5-6 km would metter when you can lauch from 10 no problem like with agm 65 or more with the Kosava
you can launch from 10 as long as the target is perfectly stationary, which is usually not. And if you are in an spaa and see a j22 launch outside your range just press w for 5 seconds and the missile will miss, and if its a Kosava again, just shoot it down…

The Kosovo cruises at 600m, not low enough to make it difficult to shoot down, maybe it was going mach 2+ not a mere 700kph, you can see how easily the bot spaa in the test drive can shoot it down. Also no the map size has nothing to do it.
Which resolves to SPAA is so stronk that they are crying for food cas themselves, and it being impossible to CAP with SPAA range, aka the tank map, aka where CAS would probably be around, also the area between plane spawn and the other side of the map where opponent entry and exit routes sit.
Are you asking to be able to sit at spawn with your 100sp and wipe out any 700sp + munition sp plane without any active gameplay?
Fact: You have made the plane useless for a run (and considering how fast matches are, for the match) when you shoot the subsonic munition down, or dodged the munition, with or without cover.
All of J-22’s equivalents are 10.7.
Thus not pay to win.

Hawk 209 is better than J22 at the same BR, able to have 4x AGM-65Gs, superior weapons to what the others get.
The vast majority of players are going to get within TV guidance lock range to fire off all of their missiles in quick succession, which is well within OSA range.

Yeah.
Granted, the tank lineup is like… Type 16 with backups, and Type 74s/M60 TTS, so it’s not ideal, but it’s one powerful CAS lineup. XD
