i have? the mig 21s r13, and i never struggled out turning F8’s, and if youre flying a crusader and turnfighting with a mig21, the fuck is wrong with you, just go vertical and energy trap them while they hammer the S key like a monkey.
The MiG 21 cannot sustain an extended dogfight. You get (at best) two turns until you’re slowed down below 300km/h and lost.
yeah thats assuming the average player knows how to use the crusader, and im good enough at aiming so i usually hose them on merge or afer one turn.
Mate, you’re expecting American players to know how to play the game beyond missile spamming and trying to turn fight in a F-104, you’re giving them too much credit
have in midn that the J-7D doesnt retains speed unlike the F-8E, the crusader wins in a 1v1
If both pilots have the same skill, the F-8 wins, saying that american pilots are worse, therefore the J-7D wins is not a good argument
In TSS style duels? Yes but, random battle is not full of duels.
Send him back to the hangar in the first few turns or, if you can’t do it, you can keep BNZs as MiG/J7s are much faster than F-8Es.

I have played this BR range quite a bit, yes I am not best player, but I do flare missiles. I can tell you sincerely that the J-7D is one of the better planes without a doubt and that it’s fairly difficult to fight against if they play competently
absolutely not, air rb isnt a 1v1.
Anything can be dangerous if played competently. For example, people have said the Darters are the worst missile, yet I do just fine with them. Does that mean they are OP? No, it just means I know how to play them. For the longest time, I heard the La planes were terrible, that you’re better off using the MiGs. Guess what, I dominated with the La series. Does that mean they’re OP? No, it just means I am good at them.
Just because some people can play a certain plane does not make it OP.
darters are still fox 3s, there isnt a single bad fox 3 ingame (aside aim54s)
Yeah, tell that to the Israelis who cry about Derby and the Darter. I love them, but that’s just because I prefer close range fighting over spamming AIM 120s from across the map and calling myself a good War Thunder player

i know, but this is more than a couple players. its genuinely 1 out of 3 or 4 matches that i die to a J-7D, which is a lot considering how many planes there are at the BR range
