F-8E also slow and PL-5Bs are still better than AIM-9Ds.
IMO F-8E should go 11.0 with AIM-9Gs but, it is offtopic.

Also, even if they pulls harder, why you trying turnfight against F-8Es, which is not really needed in random battles, since J-7D/MiG-21s are ways faster on the deck?
They are just annoying, which doesn’t mean impossible/hard to kill, just like most turnfighter in the game.

i have? the mig 21s r13, and i never struggled out turning F8’s, and if youre flying a crusader and turnfighting with a mig21, the fuck is wrong with you, just go vertical and energy trap them while they hammer the S key like a monkey.
The MiG 21 cannot sustain an extended dogfight. You get (at best) two turns until you’re slowed down below 300km/h and lost.
yeah thats assuming the average player knows how to use the crusader, and im good enough at aiming so i usually hose them on merge or afer one turn.
Mate, you’re expecting American players to know how to play the game beyond missile spamming and trying to turn fight in a F-104, you’re giving them too much credit
