Gripen E also has increased weight so it’s only a slight engine performance increase.
It can still give J-10s, Eurofighter and Rafale some issues but it practically has to be a low speed dogfight.
Now imagine Gripen E with MICA’s and IRIS-T.
Would be a literal demon at close to medium range.
for J-11B maybe, as J-10C has much better radar and ECM system than it. since J-11B is much older with last generation electronics and missiles.
it even won SU-35 several times, though SU-35 has much powerful radar, as reported, J-10C won by much smaller RCS, more advanced radar and better ECM which reduced the N035’s range to similar standard, then the PL-15 get the final kill.

J10C is just a 13.7-14.0 aircraft. It has AESA, yes, but it’s awful missile homing head compensates its advantages. PL-12 and PL-12a are more interested in chasing chaffs rather than enemy targets while their carrier jets radar maintain a radar lock. It seems PL-12 family can easily chaffed at 14.7 comparing to other missiles. I’m really curious what is the actual K/D or K/R ratio of J-10C

Then the PL-12A/AIM-120D have GNSS which is useful is some situations if you can keep your own radar lock/track
Mine is 2.4 kdr after just 29 matches, many of those were part of the stock grind, which limits the jet’s effectiveness. It’s still on the stock grind, but I already have all the important stuff.
I think it’s decent, my main complaint is the small amount of CM’s for 14.3.
I don’t have much of an issue with that amount at 13.7 with the J-10A, but at 14.3 is just too little and you need to be very frugal with your chaff/flares deployment which sometimes results in deaths that could be avoided by spamming a bit more.
For that reason, I haven’t touched the J-15T, It makes no sense that it is 14.7, should be 14.3 too. Even if it gets there, it will be hard to convince myself to play a jet with only 48 CM’s. Maybe the EW update will save it

How to play J-10C?. WHat ever I do, I just end up clubed by enemy missiles. If I get a clear shot, the enemy just shoot my missile off and fire another missile that kills me.
