Gripen E also has increased weight so it’s only a slight engine performance increase.
It can still give J-10s, Eurofighter and Rafale some issues but it practically has to be a low speed dogfight.
Now imagine Gripen E with MICA’s and IRIS-T.
Would be a literal demon at close to medium range.
for J-11B maybe, as J-10C has much better radar and ECM system than it. since J-11B is much older with last generation electronics and missiles.
it even won SU-35 several times, though SU-35 has much powerful radar, as reported, J-10C won by much smaller RCS, more advanced radar and better ECM which reduced the N035’s range to similar standard, then the PL-15 get the final kill.

Definitely will get IRIS-T in the future, but MICAs were denied. Stuck with AMRAAMs till MBDA Meteor comes. 😔

It doesn’t, J-10A actually loses in most except a few like radar gimbal
Otherwise J-11B is better in basically everything
