Well, it’s a waste of both our time if you think the J-10C is better than the Rafale just because it shot down a random Rafale.
Then you know the F-15 hasn’t been shot down by any other aircraft, but that doesn’t mean it’s invincible.
And frankly, the number of downed aircraft is just for reference; nobody can be sure if the J-10C has been shot down, or how many, if the media covers it up, especially since it crashed in friendly territory where investigation is impossible.
Okay, let’s set aside reality and ask what you think of the J10C in the current game

I still don’t have the J-10 myself, but I’ll give my assessment based on my experience fighting against it:
It’s much better than the F/A-18E and slightly better than the F-15C GE, but it’s not on the level of the Typhoon or Rafale.
Even so, it still has a chance to win against any opponent. Against the Rafale or Typhoon, their win rate would be higher, but not overwhelming — the J-10 can definitely shoot them down.
China has succeeded in creating an aircraft that can compete with Europe; it’s just not the best one.
And I don’t think China intends to create a “best of the best” weapon. They just need something good enough — numbers and tactics matter more. Japan and Germany lost simply because of numbers.
Weapons are made to win wars, not to be the strongest on paper.
I don’t think J10C is better than F15C Golden Eagle, but F18E is indeed more like a 14.0 aircraft than JAS39E

I fully agree that Chinese fighter jets are competitive, and that in several critical areas they are even leading.
But the event in India is a very unfortunate example. The Indian air force lost more than 100 aircraft between 2014 and 2024 due to accidents alone, and lost 73 pilots during that period.
Even at the Dubai air show there was a fatal accident during the Tejas presentation.
The J10C is an incredible aircraft that’s on par with the Eurocanards, however what happened in India this year is more of a failure for India than a success for pakistan.
A J10C is fully capable of shooting down Rafales and Su-30s, but it wasn’t a fair fight there; the Pakistani pilots’ skill far outweighed the indians pilots. The Indian pilots are very poorly trained despite using incredible equipment.

You guys know in real life the kills were made with Pl-15E missiles (not ingame) and not from dogfights right?
Also pakistan had aesa radar advantage.
Still yeah j10c lacks an engine fix and seems like an aesa fix too. But you cant expect to have same results as in real life, when in real life participated better missiles than ingame.
the indian rafales have aesas as well. They have essentially the model rafale thats in game

indian Air Force is ultimately incompetent and neglected to integrate NATO fighters with Russian a50 awacs so they can’t talk to each other lol, Pakistan has the foresight to buy all from one nation (j10c integrated with ZDK03), rafale never stood a chance lol it probably couldn’t even see the j10c

I honestly don’t understabd the people who are saying its bad, its missiles are goated, quantity of missiles is good, good flight performance with good acceleration, and best of all its radar is amazing

I think it’s mostly because it is woefully outclassed by most other 14.3s in either loadout or flight performance+72cms at 14.3 is almost not enough. It’s just not on par with the AESA Typhoons, Rafale, or Su-30SM2.
I don’t think it would be awful, but I’m certainly not going to go out of my way to play it when I can play the J-11B at a lower BR and have much more fun.

Yea we had something to agree with at least, I meant no arguments for emotional output, by using the combat example I’m not saying J10C is all aspect better, sorry that I didn’t make it clear, the radar is obviously better than the shabby one in the game right, and plus the lack of WS10 engine as well as the unreal enormous drag of the plane body, I’m just too disappointed of the current j10c in game, sorry again for any misunderstanding caused by my previous unclear speech.

bro I can post high kill games in anything it doesn’t matter lol, the plane literally cannot compete with the ef2000 and there’s zero reason not to give it the correct engine, it is still a worse 14.3 than any of the new additions for zero reason. Nothing at all remotely special about 10aam at 14.3 either nor about it’s performance or anything.
