Not really… I’ve prefer 9Ms in sim majority of the time. Yes it’s 30Gs but 40Gs for PL-8Bs + high acceleration doesn’t make it as great for close engagements. 9Ms doesn’t turn off the rail directly, but it feels a lot easier to lead than using PL-8Bs

I’ve had much better time using other FOX-3s than PL-12s. It’s literally a only close range FOX-3.

The only fox-3 I enjoy using more than PL-12s are MICAs
Besides R-77s and MICAs they are the only half decent close range fox-3s
And unlike those two it goes out decently far
I honestly have a better time with AIM-120 C-5s and R-77-1s. It’s a lot more consist than PL-12s for me.

F-15, not a chance in hell, i’d take 6 PL-12s on an eagle over the 8 amraams post-nerf
Eurofighter does all the heavy lifting for the missile, not really fair to compare the PL-12 airframes, infinitely worse at close-medium ranges

I do fairly decent in mid-close range engagements with F-15E in sim. It’s feels like I actually have the range even if they run away than with Pl-12s, that doesn’t have much range to begin with.
TWS does guide the missile, look up some videos on the mater

nerf over 120Bs more than anything; its worse at normal combat ranges and better at ranges where you have to be AFK to get hit lol.
Seeker of PL-12 isnt any different to other ARHs bar MICAs.

The only real difference is that AMRAAMs seeker turns on at 20km vs PL-12 16km, but that is irrelevant as both will lock onto target at 16km distance - thus it doesnt matter if the seeker is turned on moment before the missile reaches 16km or when it reaches 16km.
This point is valid, but you claiming that PL-12s are bad, and that that 120C-5s are an upgrade ruined any credibility. The PL-12s (and hopefully other missiles) can also be buffed to be closer to IRL, because AFAIK they are underperforming.
It would be fine at 14.0, considering it is worse than the base eurofighters at the moment.
So Datamine tells you the flight path when there have been videos of them showing different flight paths and acceleration between the PL-12 and AIM-120? Datamined means squat if it’s actually different in game.
Why do you suddenly move the goalpost from seeker to kinematics?
PL-12s are better than Aim-120Cs, and are arguably better than 120Bs excluding BVR.
Look at the chat; I’ve literally stated how it feels like it has less range than the AIM-120s. It has been about the PL-12 overall.
