Russia and China have no say in Gaijin Entertainment, it’s a private company.
No government has a say, which is why there’s no bias toward any tech tree in War Thunder.

Hell… not even the US butts in… you would think they would want a say in how something preforms…

I remember players coming in like ten years ago, wondering why the P-51 is not as over powered as they have heard in war stories or movies they have seen… and wonder why they keep losing in the P-51…

That’s just how life works. The vast majority of people don’t or refuse to have a voice. So, while you might be speaking on the behalf of 1 000 000 happy players. I’m probably speaking on behalf of 1 000 000 upset players who find themselves not enjoying the game, are taking a break until issues have been fixed, or have given up on the game entirely.

You or others do not speak for anyone… everyone has their own voice to use here…
We tend to have very “loud” speakers here, they tend to think they speak for the majority just because they are making the most noise…

What you fail to realize is, most players are not that fussed with game play, they are just happy to play…

If they have some kind of reason to raise issues, then they can use the forum to raise issues and or offer feedback…

EVERYONE has a right to raise concerns here, NO ONE has refused to have a voice here… its just a simple fact of the matter they just do not care right now, they are just happy to play…

I personally have never had this happen to me. All moderators I have spoken to were very helpful and considerate of my plights (deleted comments, chat ban and a dis-approved suggestion post).

Needing to rely on a AI to help you write something on a forum is very sad.

We actually encourage those that do not know English, or English is not their native language here to use some kind of Translator to chat or discuss issues and or offer Feedback etc… AI, wouldnt have been my first choice my self… but hell, I failed English and its my native language lol…

so, really no harm in him using AI to help make sure there is nothing lost in translation… I dont blame him for trying to be careful or using AI to help keep things respectful… so, good on him!

Does not mean we have to agree with somethings… but, everyone has their right to opinion… as long as its respectful…

Nobody knows that.While I find the American “Red under the bed” mentality tiresome none of us know what link Gaijin have unless we are at a high level working for them. Companies have to play ball if they want to sell a product in particular country sometimes.

If you look at the game, download the game, play the game, and spend money/time on the game, then decide you don’t like but keep playing anyway, you don’t get to say you are a victim. This isn’t Gaijin robbing you, this is Gaijin selling you a hole full of mud to stand in and for some reason you thought you’d enjoy standing in it and you won’t get out even after deciding you’re not having a good time.

you have events, like the on to come, if you play 2 weeks you can get F14.

I was happy with the game for many years, after 9 years I became unhappy and went to visit the forum for the first time to complain and satirize that I wanted to sell my account, as a result I lost 10 years of game that I had in Warthunder lol

This is the sad reality of Free to play games. They are kind of screwed with funding so they eventually are forced to get more and more aggressive in their monetization. And eventually once they get big enough and have to add more things constantly. They just simply turn to a crappy gambling / Pay to progress. Dear god i love war thunder but id them let the free to play version die. and Start charging 60 bucks for the game. And drop down all other Costs. This way they are supported. sure the player base will shrink but its worth it damnit if it means they can drop all the bullshit happening right now.

They obviously care about the community, but its so large and they have such limited manpower to keep up. I feel bad for the devs. they are probably the most overworked people ever.

Sure i lay hate on the game and decisions made, like the copious amount´s of C&P added. but i do know its because its not worth adding more than a third of the suggestions here on the forum since it wont generate enough money.

You can play for free and up to mid BR it does not cost much.That is the truth of it.

If you want to take it further with cash then OK ,nobody forced me to spend and if I am OK with what I spent or I regret what I spent that is my problem.

Gaijin do what a company does to survive and nobody forces anything upon the F2P player.

Many of the top players are F2P. That is a fact.

The market for genre is completely and utterly captured by gaijin and whoever makes WoT.

Competitor will never emerge, its impossible to compete with a game that has 10+ years of content and playerbase in a niche market like this.

Gaijin can be as scummy as possible as long as it doesnt cause a riot.

There are much worse developers we can have i assure you.

Of course it’s been Gaijin vs ED for the last 2 years now, it’s just not talked about cause DCS requires at least a controller to function whereas you only need M&K for War Thunder.

And of course indirect competition from all other developers on the planet.
