Yes you could spam dumb rockets as your last line of defense but that’s far from consistent and takes skill/luck.
On the other hand, FnF helicopters just need to pop out for a few seconds, fire their 8 missiles and go back to rearm. The window in which you can kill them with AAs is extremely small while they keep their full A2G efficiency.

the efficiency with spikes and pars is just lower. too frequently they lose lock or only score crits. also, you can never really locate more than, say 4 enemies in less than 10 seconds, and I am being generous here - spaa often reacts quicker.
Usually I just say “non premium US mains are not much worse than mains from pretty much every other nations”, however there will usually be some butthurt minor nations mains shouting back “Wrong, clearly X nation mains (usually the nation they main themselfs) are better”.
The amount of stupid shit I commonly see nation mains do no matter what nation is incredible. Except Israel mains, but that is only because I only see about 1 Israel main every 5 games or so (this is a generous estimate too lol).
I believe their performance is neutered because of balance, as FnF + IOG + great damage would make those helicopters much higher than 12.0 BR.
Gaijin offering Ground map view to all CAS helps a lot for finding clusters of enemies and calculating where most of the opposition would be placed. If you locate 4 enemies, you fire two missiles at each and go back to rearm. Getting 4 kills while exposing yourself only for a few seconds against ground threats is a pretty decent outcome.
br does not matter anymore, everything 12.0 gets sucked into the 12.7 black hole because of the player amount. sp cost for those would just rise.
I don’t think i’ve seen that happen a lot on the kill feed. plus f&f frequently transfers lock onto dead vehicles, which are common by the time you get a helicopter.

I’d hardly call the f5e top tier cas that’s worth making note of. That thing thing is slower than can be and as soon as you move out of 11.0 it is screwed, no ability to deal with anything at range, but is defintely a nimble lil SOB. I struggled with that through top tier as long as I could until I said screw it and started grinding and then just bought my way to f16aj lol
4 agms make it very fun to use, along with its flight performance. but i am sure its very bad in top-top tier.
Ah got it, maybe it is better than the pantsir but I highly doubt it because everything an ADATS can do the pantsir does better except kill tanks through penetration, but can def kill tanks through overpressure. Don’t have the pantsir yet though so can’t say.
You’ll like the nimbleness of it, anyone coming ing in’s range is screwed. That quickly loses its appeal though and speed limits its ability to project its agms over further distance, even further compounded by the weak B version.
what exactly can pantsyr do better than adats in terms of spaa vs heli gameplay? spam more missiles? that’s about it.

Faster missiles, more missiles, track and destroy incoming munitions. You can joust helis in a pantsir if you wanted.
I had no choice when I started grinding Japan. Stayed this way for a while too. 11.3 plane in 12.0 fighting f15e’s and 16c’s lol. I could dodge the 120’s as long as I had counter measures a lot of the time.

K/D is a pointless discussion in WT, it doesn’t account for teams, how many games you’ve played (this matters as tanks you haven’t spaded will typically have lower stats), lineup, matchmaking which can vary, and ofc other factors such as whether you’re sweating to get top of team or just messing around with the lads
Case in point, I have better stats in the Challenger 2 TES than I do some of my Leopards and Abrams, does that mean the TES is better? No.
To compare vehicles I would suggest bringing up characteristics of the vehicles themselves.
Well, If we’re putting it like that, “Muh K/D” isn’t exactly compelling.
I mentioned that the Leopard 2 a7v has superior armor, that is a fair point, rounds I’m not mentioning as the Abrams beats the Swedish ones but loses to the German ones, but really 600+mm of pen will get you through anything, numerically the Abrams lineup is better (relevant because this contributes to staying power, even with Sweden having 3 2a7vs you get 5-6 solid 120mm Abrams tanks), reload, is still better, mobility as far as I can tell is better for finding positions (max speed matters a lot early game for this), reverse speed is good enough on both so I won’t use this, and thermals is a mixed bag, this seems even to me if we put a lot of emphasis on the Leopard 2a7v having better armor.
Making their SP cost go up would also be a good idea for balance.
My main point was that FnF helis would be much better than Kamovs if their missiles behaved the proper way. That being said, I can’t really say which one is the best, as all have cons of their own.
Any atgm in game can snag the littlest part of a tank and be useless. That’s universal.
And where as USA has an advantage in planes irl, Russia has that in helis. Hell, all modern USA helis are based of the Mi-24 in one way or another
Spikes are technically better as DLOS isn’t needed.
I’m not really sure the bmpt would be useful in game. Depending on the br they’d put it at. But Russia needs a wheeled fast flanker, which is something they’ve been lacking for years. There are several btr models that are stabilized and have atgm launchers
Yes that does apply to most light tanks, but the BMP-2M is pretty much the slowest light tank. It is as fast as any MBT.
