Lmao the Merkavas, VT-4A1 and Arietes are also considerably worse than the Abrams. Hell I would always pick my Abrams over the T-90M.

Merkava is at least completely immune to ATGMs thanks to it’s APS, and is arguably more survivable. VT-4A1 is smaller, has smaller weakspots, is immune to ATGMs. The only thing bad about is the 7.1 reload, but then again, once Abrams get easily penetrated the loader dies and the only advantage is gone.
And in no way in hell I’d pick M1A2 over mine T-90M. The survivability and armor is THAT noticeable.
And why are you even talking about Ariete ? Top Italian tank is the 2A7VHU. Stop trying to gaslight me. And btw, Ariete is at least faster than the battleship (with 0 armor) Challenger 2/3 so it’s not the worst MBT like you all make it out to be. Challenger 2 has also paper armor everywhere, except the cheeks, but why would anyone shoot there anyway and not the gigantic breech?
It’s only really survivable against people with bad aim. Compared to the Abrams the Merkava has worse armor, worse forward mobility, worse firepower and worse gun handling.
It has pretty sub par mobility, subpar gun handling, big weakspots and far worse firepower than the Abrams.
I’d pick my Abrams any day of the week. The T-90M mobility is just trash and when playing against the T-90M I have no problem killing them in 1-2 shots. (Although I also have no problem killing the Abrams in 1-2 shots)

Then that’s just a massively skill issue. T-90M is great and so is the 90A at it’s br especially when in down tier.

Try to press sight stabilization when you tracking target and move your crosshair to certain weakspots. Just like this:
Even if it is bad example above, this helps a bit to ‘oneshot’ tank or at least cripple it hard. Hellfires are not that bad actually, despite they don’t have different flight modes in game.

Any good player will get far more value out of the Abrams kit than they’ll get out of the T-90M though.
T-90M has a lower floor while the Abrams has a higher ceiling.

What a stupid take. This isn’t CoD game as much as y’all would like it to be. Strv 122 is brain dead to play and has the “highest ceilling”. And good player would get much more out of the awesome Swedish or Russian lineup. Abrams might not be the 2nd worst, but it’s still not even close to Strv 122/2A7V or even TKX. And guess what ? MBT is just one part where US isn’t good, it’s even worse in the SPAA, IFV, Support vehicles and helicopter parts. So stop nitpicking the Abrams, it’s just a part of the whole US underperforming problem.

Because the Strv 122 has good mobility, gun handling, armor and survivability with decent firepower. It pretty much has no weaknesses.
An actually good player will get way more value from the mobility and firepower of the abrams compared to the easily bypassable armor of the T-90M.

Why do you all still think the Abrams is so mobile ? SEPV1 is just a little bit faster than T-90M, except reverse speed of course. And if for some reason, someone plays the SEP V2, it’s just as fast as T90M if not slower. M829A2 doesn’t penetrate anything 3BM60 wouldn’t. And sure, having 1.7 faster reload will sometimes save you, your loader will eventually die anyway and T-90M will have better reload. And I’d rather have easily bypassable armor and spall liners rather than having no armor with the Abrams + gigantic HE/ATGM magnet turret roof
