TBF I think it should be 8.7 though at least, then see how it goes.
IDK about people claiming armies against them, saw more flak panthers in a team which is a rare as heck vehicle then I ever did T58s, most I ever saw was 4 of us on a team at once, usually on my own or with 1 or maybe 2 others.

A comparison doesn’t need to be made. America has plenty of strong heavies.

T34? T26E5? You can argue Tiger2H is marginally better, doesn’t mean these two aren’t exceptionally good vehicles. T29 as well. Even the Tiger2H being better has became more debatable than it already was with the engine nerfs.

The APHE is mediocre and the HEAT is HEAT. it’s only got a 6 round autoloader too, 2.6 is insanely fast but that’s what makes it 8.3
The AMX-50 and Somua are autoloading heavies too, 2 br steps lower, so T58 at 8.3 should be fine

Notably, the french tanks reload between 1.8x and 2.5x as slowly.

6.7? Centurion Mk. 2 - APDS + full stab, not to mention quite good armor and mobility
This isn’t strictly better, it’s a sidegrade at best, and even if it was it’s a limited, not often seen past event vehicle.

Stabilizer is the main upside, APHE is strictly better than APDS so long as APHE can penetrate and you’re not at some absurd range to where the velocity difference comes into play. Either way you’ve made a great case to say the cent is a sidegrade to the american heavies I mentioned.
I don’t think so. French autoloaders don’t stop at 7.7 and the 8.0 ones are still a lot worse than the T58.
Have you… looked? AMX 50 is a paper armor tank
T34 doesn’t have APHE and T26E5 is not that great to deal with cent mk2
I am not making some weird 1v1 comparison. I am comparing them to the rest of their entire BR and their general matchmaking. T34’s only real downside is lack of aphe and long reload
How many rounds do they get and how long to restock the autoloader compared to T58? What about mobility too
usually 7, reload time is quite long so not gonna really matter if t58 is a little slower though I don’t know the comparison, t58 is not that different from somua in speed but is quite a bit slower than amx 50s
french ones have the exact same issue of running out of ammo when u magdump and having to use cap points to reload or afking for 2-3 minutes to reload
