Is the T58 and Turm III a little too strong at 8.3?

You have played less than 100 battles in it while people are still learning how to kill it.

T58 is a slow, non stabilized tank at 8.3…

Sure it is deadly, but it doesn’t make it anything more than glorified AMX-50 Surbaisse.

Leaving exceptions like IS-4/6, Maus (which mind you are nearly a full downtier for T58) and alike that still fire old generation rounds, nothing in this BR should ever struggle penetrating this thing.

Learn how to aim, use your mobility/stab to take the first shot off and you are good. If he is staring at you… just don’t engage like you would do with any other high caliber tank.

Turm 3 is an entirely different story, it is fully stabilised, very mobile and has a 30mm coax on top. This thing absolutely deserves to go up.

As if the hull is always an option. Or if I don’t get disabled by it first.

That’s on you then. It’s not only T58, basically every autoloader in the game works like that. If you get disabled first unless someone quickly bails you out you are done.

This is precisely why it is 8.3 though, the highest BR of all heavy tanks aside Object 279

The reverse gear is so bad in it, when i retreat it’s always a toss up.

Well that’s why I said 9.0 is perfect for it

People know how to kill I just swing the turret when the shoot and it bounces

All of the history of warfare suggests otherwise lmao. (I get the point you are trying to make but frankly its not a great point when you consider the arguments used against IDK,

the FOX! Heck I might be misremembering but I am sure you personally made arguments about the mobility of the fox being more important then other lethality aspects of vehicles before too)

The mobility mattered with the fox due to it not having a 155mm…

My point is that mobility is either an important factor or it isnt, you cant just turn it on and off as an argument like a light bulb.

That’s complete nonsense

It is a factor, depending on the tank. The T58 has ok mobility but it doesn’t hinder it

It’s not much slower than an m103 /a m60

Fox was broken / still kind of is due to the ability to drive across some maps in as little as 20 secs, and being able to deal a good amount of damage with its cannon.

Both the T-58 and Fox are extremely good, but the fox is in a far more balanced position than it once was.

Yes, they are a little too powerful at 8.3, but they’re premiums so what did you expect? I think the turm III is much better than the t58 though, the t58 struggles with the small autoloader capacity and lack of a stabiliser. The Turm is flat out unfair

Turm III is definitely busted but the T58, eh.

The people asking for the T58 to go to 9.0+ are actually coping its so funny. The M103s hull is probably the weakest aspect of the M103, and the T58 takes that hull from 7.7 to 8.3 already. The issue with the T58 is one where its turret armor in a downtier can be punishing, but is nonexistent in an uptier due to the 9.3+ darts that it faces. Ask yourselves how a 9.0 T58 would deal with a full uptier? Fighting a T-64B or FV4030 in a heavy tank is one of the most brain-dead takes I’ve ever heard from a WT player. The simple fact is that people at ~8.3 got reallyyyy used to not aiming at U.S. tanks, and now that they have to look for weakspots, they’re having conniptions because they have to turn on their brains for once. idk, maybe don’t push infront of the T58 that just fired at your buddy because he’ll probably reload before you can get a shot off? lmfao I can honestly see it getting a ~3.5 second reload and going to 8.0

Best take ive heard.

It will get absolutely wrecked if it goes to 9.

The darts will tear it apart.

bether 1 to suffer then all the other 8.3 is criminal. armor is to good just because all the rest in not apsolute garbage all aspect are impressive or more then fine

They should just nerf the reload to like 10s and place it at 8.0 or 7.7. 10s is still extremely fast for a heavy tank with 155mm gun.

2.6 is way too fast, and will always cause balancing issues.

So you’ll make that reply to my comment, which was in reply to an ad-hominem. there are some very special people on this forum.
