Is the Su-57 really worse than the F-22?

pre-production models and non combat cleared airframes

Russia has a GDP smaller than Texas. The US is the largest economy in the world with the largest military budget.

There’s your answer.

Yet you’re frothing over a document made about the first prototype variant… Funny.

They don’t have a patent that indicates RCS? They have a patent indicating the EPR goal of T-50-0.

Realest of the real

RCS is like LOS armour thickness, it changes drastically depending on what angle you look at it.

the F-22s given RCS is its minimum possible RCS.
the Su-57s given RCS is its minimum possible RCS (if not the average).

Imagine thinking naked GDP means anything. At least have some decency and adjust by PPP

India has a larger GDP than the UK even though most of their population lives on less than four bucks a day. GDP doesn’t mean a thing to a country’s ability to make anything or distribute budgets

Imagine thinking having a large Military Budget than every other country combined doesn’t make your tech more advanced.

Are you suggesting that America, with a Military Budget greater than every other country in the world combined, isn’t more advanced?

Do you understand how much everyone leans on US tech? Seriously. This discussion is pointless. We know for a fact that the F-22 is better than the Su-57. To suggest it isn’t is utterly absurd.

No im telling you to use a non BS metric.

Explain how a higher budget put into a military doesn’t directly correlate to greater military strength?

That is, factually, incorrect. Next 6 countries, including Russia and China? Yes, US budget is greater than this. EVERY OTHER COUNTRY? No.

And, again, returning to my original point - GDP without PPP correction is useless metric beyond basic d-measurement contest

Bro. We don’t even have the planes in the game. Chill

Purchasing Power Parity does not remotely come into play here. PPP is specifically meant to reflect living standards, but for some reason, you seem to take it as “Fact”. Last I checked people in China and India don’t live better lives than people in the US. People in the US also have far higher wages.

Why is PPP irrelevant? It’s simple. The Dollar is more powerful than pretty much every foreign Currency. It’s the World Reserve Currency for a reason.

No, Russia is not a more powerful military than the US. Stop making roundabout excuses.

The F-22 is a significantly more advanced aircraft than every other jet in the world other than US ones. Sorry to say, but it’s just the facts. It’s been extensively tested in war unlike other Country’s “equivalents”.

im not the guy that mentioned PPP. nor am I calling russias military competent, they would have finished their special military operation if so by now. I was saying GDP as a metric is foolish and doesn’t even scratch the surface of internal economic fruition

No, looking at GDP alone doesn’t give you all the facts, but when there’s THAT big of a difference in GDP, it does tell you a fact.

The US has a Military budget 100 times bigger than Russia. No matter how many things you factor in, it won’t change that massive gap.

I’m not a Freeaboo, I just know that the US can’t be touched by other countries. The only way anyone can compete with their military is by unifying and entire Continent like the EU.
