Is the Su-57 really worse than the F-22?

i dont know who to trust, but i think that the Su-57 is better at electronic warfare and air to ground capabilities than the F-22 is, i have heard that the F-22 is pretty bad at A2G, is it true?

Yes. Most probably yes. We can’t know for sure what weapons the F-22 can equip for A/G but in an Air supremacy environment the F-22 will win. Better stealth too i suppose

SU-57 with the visible screws in the wings and the bubbles in the cockpit? :D

What is the indication that it would be bad at A2G? Its no F-15EX, but its seemingly fine per what one could carry externally and internally.

That was a soviet specialty, wether it applies to the SU-57 and how it compares is anyones guess. Given lagging semiconductor development, idk if id bet on it in such a constrained package

Su-57 has more ground attack capability for sure. The F22 is superior in air to air due to stealth, but the Su-57 has some interesting armament like the R-37. I reckon it will be a closer matchup ingame than real world.

Debunked only ten million times. At this point it’s almost as bad as claiming the earth is flat.

It’s just taking inspiration from the F22 :)

Wdym debunked? It has screws visible. That is a fact.
Screw visibility is bad for stealth. That is a fact.
Canopy bubbles are bad in general. That is a fact.

Don’t take glabal defense corp seriously, it’s a propaganda source

Id take it over redeffect spewing nonsense or the Russian government lying to make themselves seem better

That’s not even the same plane you’re referring to, it’s an early example of the tech demo PAK FA.

Then you’re lost.

I dont like either, but i would rather listen to a slightly less propagandized view (so not redeffect or the Russian government)

Being western in origin doesn’t make it any less poisonous.

It’s almost as if it wasn’t designed to be a stealth aircraft.
Just a Su-27 replacement while testing some mechanisms for the next project.

On top of your claims being debunked.

su-57 NATO codename: an entire city block that is flying

Probably. But I doubt the SU57 is as bad as most pundits say. Truth being, no one besides Russia’s MOD truly knows.

Most talking points you see regurgitated only really apply to the PAK FA.

The F22 is almost certainly better. As far as reliable sources go the SU-57 is a very very troubled aircraft with an identity crisis in how it gets portrayed, nor do I trust russia to be able to build planes on par with Lockheed Martin. Hopefully we wont ever find out the answer of who wins in the air.

Im far from a freedomboo but I think this meme sums up my thoughts on this question

Assuming you are just uninformed and not trolling
The “screws” (aerospace grade fasteners) were seen and visible on a early developmental tech demo. It would be the equivalent of stating that the YF-22A has a nose probe therefore F-22 isn’t stealth…

That is not to mention that the F-22A has aerospace grade fasteners visible along with panel gaps… everywhere.

Any close up photos of the F-22 in the same manner as the PAK FA photo would show similarly “bad” looking fasteners on the surface.

Nah that’s just NATO propaganda.
