In a 0.7 system it would also not face it and could go to 7.7 instead of 8.0
now the Leo 1 is useless because it can not compete with other 8.0s and 9.0s at all
Why? Why are you deleating BR´s there is no reason to do that
0.7 Maus is 7.7, IS-6 is 7.3, IS-3 is 7.0, Tiger 2 is 6.7.
1.0 Maus is 7.7, IS-6 is 7.3, IS-3 is 7.0, Tiger 2 is 6.7.
there is no difference in their placement there will not be there should not be
you are making up imaginary scenarious which will never happen as counter argument. Get your Tinfgoil hat first
@AlvisWisla you seem to have a fixation on certain vehicles fighting each other, they don’t need to. Also earlier you mentioned a spreadsheet you made could you post that?
And now you’ve imbalanced the game & the game lost half its playerbase that loved WW2 battles by not letting existing 6.7s face other WW2 tanks of late WW2.
with .7 float they don’t need to, just put those overperforming 7.3 to 7.7 and they will still be competitive while not facing late WW2 - early cold war era tank.
What? Can you please write a fantasy novel your imagination is utterly wild.
Why is the game imbalanced. It will be more balanced
Why would WWII now meet more post war stuff? The entire aim of 0.7 is to not move everything around and to remove post war from WWII stuff. 0.7 itself counters your argument by existing because its AIM is to avoid your imaginary thing from happening.
More WWII tanks will meet WWII tanks in a0.7 system then currently do. Next to no Post war tank will meet WWII tanks. You live in utter selfdelusion
I’ve purged my file from my computer.
It went to 13.3 - 14.0, likely closer to 13.3.
Focused ground since ground impacts air.
13.0 BR existing is enough to decompress all of jets BTW.
The shortening of the BR range is precisely the biggest issue here. With 0.7 you can adjust BR just by half of the spread which can be problematic because that is very big step and moving vehicles up and down will create many more issue then with ±1.0 system.
My table is from MM/lineup point of view exactly the same as the 0.7 spread. So if you are telling me that my table breaks lineups same applies to the 0.7 spread.
All in all it is pointless to argue for 0.7 as it will never happen because even without Gaijin’s “reasons” for wanting compressed game it is simply bad UI design so it will never happen. And community’s work would be better spend asking for decompression and we might have actually already gotten something.
I do agree with the extension of the br range, but as Gaijin is taking it extremely slowly this could function as a stopgap measure like I suggested in a post above
There are no vehicles that would have different BRs.
Harrier GR7 went to 11.7 because of air RB performance.
Tornado IDS MFG went to 11.0 because it was OP in air RB at 10.7.
Q-5L is 9.7 because it’s a bomber, essentially a slightly slower Nesher without missiles.
@Crus94
It takes time to analyze all the vehicles & come to decisions on what to do with them.
This stop-gap idea still requires them to analyze all the vehicles & come to decisions on what to do with them. :)
The battle ratings of vehicles and how that works will not change it will still remain x.0, x.3, X.7 that won’t change, the only change as has been stated before is that vehicles will only see other vehicles 2 places above or below them nothing out side of this but everything inside
But the numbers are irrelevant. As you said the vehicle will see only 2 steps up and down instead of 3. This means that it is far more likely that some vehicle will be too weak at one step and far too powerful the step below. Because with the 0.7 system you will loose one step which could otherwise be used for more detailed balancing.
That’s why we have the stats and balance changes every now and then.
Neither of our ways of Decompression are all that likely right now, Gaijin is getting better hopefully and we can keep debating all we want. Look I’m tired I’ll be back in a number of hours.
there’s no detailed balancing at 1.0 gap, you’re gonna get stomped, end of story, unless you’re a good pilot / tanker / admiral, 1.0 gap is too big of a performance gap to face with average player, that’s it.
The performance gap between vehicles which are 1.0 BRs from one another is completely arbitrary. And isn’t relevant at all because it is 100% in Gaijin’s hands we can have exactly same compression with the 0.7 as we have now but it would be even worse because you have one less balancing step to make adjustments.
@Crus94
Sorry for attacking your points so harshly.
My passion for getting Rank Does Not Matter, and making sure the currently balanced vehicles stay balanced while pushing for decompression is sometimes too strong.
