First off, getting destroyed is something, and yeah crashing nets you zero RP. The score only translates to events.
You get 100ish RP from taking off, and if you die at any time, all you get is 100ish RP from takeoff.
Second, dying to an enemy munition, this means AI or player caused, causes activity which activates your activity RP, because you were active. You actively engaged with the enemy and lost, you did something.
On one hand, I agree
On the other hand, let me bomb in peace and I won’t run myself into the ground when I’m trying to bomb in the Phantom.

I know, Ive had him blocked for the longest time.
It can be fun seeing the insane mental hoops he tries to jump through to continue with his never ending “everything is perfectly fine exactly how it is right now” facade.

Thats a very long winded way of saying the same thing I said
@Belenor85 stop ragebaiting critics, and ideally stay on topic.
@_Zekken
Stop inventing strawmen to argue against. Criticizing the game is not anywhere close to saying “everything is okay”.
I want air RB EC, and this idea is both unproven in a video game due to existing knowledge of psychology, and in direct competition with the EC modes.
I’m not out here making false accusations about others, I’m here discussing things in an on-topic manner and providing my thoughts as a man that has been playing PVP games for 21 years, studied psychology to get a better understanding of the mind as a way to overcome my own flaws, and my desire for air RB EC to exist.
You can dislike my views, but you need to be honest with yourself about others instead of making things up.

Why do you keep bringing up psychology of all things? (Not being rude, just wondering why?) As you said yourself, There are basically no games that have being rewarded for another persons death if they suicide. (Sense there was no need for something like that for other games that were mostly grind based and weren’t as focused on the player performance instead of the team performance.) So there’s no real knowledge of whether they do or don’t cause “Stress”
If you do know or have seen this happen, or have any links to what might support this. Mind posting them below for me to check out? (Or any games that have tried this method)

Score directly determines your RP reward through Activity%

What strawman? I discussed EXACTLY what you said, very specifically:
You get RP and SL for being shot down
You Don’t get the bonus for being shot down, and a crew lock for suiciding
Being shot down is rewarding nothing
Crew lock for crashing is punishing a mistake
Both of your comments here are at odds with another. Not only that, the suggestion in the OP doesn’t just improve intentional suicides, it also rewards legitimate manoeuvre kills as well.
You then accuse me of lying for simply explaining EXACTLY how the current system works? Like, okay then.
Except this is the entire reason I ended up muting you on the forums, Because every time I see someone complain or say anything along the lines of “hey, this could be better” You would jump in and argue that was always a bad idea and that it is exactly fine how it is. It was and still is incredibly predictable and happens like clockwork. It just gets tiring to read over and over.
You flat out called me a liar for my completely truthful explanation of how you get RP for being shot down but don’t for crashing.
what the heck does psychology have to do with whether or not manoeuvre kills deserve to be rewarded, or whether unsportsmanlike conduct should be punished or not?
Yeah, been trying to do the BP CAS task and a destroy 70 ground targets in a bomber task at the same time… there is only so many times you can get run down by a sweat in a Wyvern before you lose patience with it, kind of hard to credit that to his “hard work and skill”.
Your best bet is to just switch BRs. Wyvern, XP-50 and 55s are a plague
