As others have said the easiest way to negate this is to just consider it a maneuver kill and give the kill to the closest player within a 1-2km radius.
Though of course that is the easiest way to to it and knowing gaijin they will come up with some other solution that will somehow only make the problem worse…
If the person reported gets banned, even temporary is still a thing. From what I could understand ‘maneuver kill’ is anything between intentional or accidental crash being credited as target destroyed to the nearest player under 1,0 km.
I’m not arguing against this issue, I just said that from all issues current in-game being either exploits or mechanics, I don’t think this one need urgent attention.
If I’m not wrong, there are indeed losers here: The player which crashed (intentionally or not) getting its own crew locked for a period of time on top of recieving little or no reward depending on its performance in-game.
1-3km range in which a crash or J-out was an accreditted kill would be nice. Even if a “maneuver kill” was only 50% of the reward.
Also if you J-out or perhaps even crash with an active missile tracking you, it should reward the full kill. Had someone in SB J-out to avoid giving me a Skyflash kill. was very annoyed
The Leviathans Major update has a fistful of things that should’ve been fixed since the first day of release and there are still things to go.
Issues like this: negating kills require messing in the community and surely in-game which I doubt Gaijin can make a change, fixing a problem without making other two.
Daily commute of 50 minutes on train (more like 60), 30 minutes on tram and time spent sitting at railway and tram stations waiting. Oh, and this is just one way. So total of 180 minutes doing nothing but standing/sitting around, often with your friends still asleep or busy so cant annoy them on discord.
Plenty of time to be awfully bored and needing some degree of sitmulation while unable to do anything but read stuff.
Can’t read books proper because people are way too noisy to get immersed in a story.
Definitely needs to reward the kill to the nearest player within ~3km.
Its really stupid.
You literally get rewarded with more RP and SL for being shot down and doing nothing else, that you do not get for crashing in order deny the enemy their RP.
These players are LITERALLY denying themselves RP and SL by crashing instead of letting themselves be shot down. What other reward incentive could you possibly give them?
Plenty of games punish bad or unsportsmanlike behaviour with ingame consequences.
Do you crash on purpose? Also, no, you are incorrect - Battlefield 1943 would punish players who commit suicide by deducting all of the points they earned in that life time as a penalty, resulting in a net score of -1. This fix wouldn’t matter to you if you play the game properly, so why is it an issue?
I care not for what less than 1% of players do from my experience.
I don’t deserve free frags by doing literally nothing other than instilling fear into less than 1% of engagements. It’s no effort, and would prevent air RB EC from ever becoming a thing as well.
Put in the effort to get frags, stop demanding handouts.
Put in the effort to get frags, stop demanding handouts
BRUH
did you even read the thread? the issue here isnt people accidentally crashing, its when its done INTENTIONALLY to deny the kill.
Put in the effort to get frags
What would you deem as effort in toptier arb or sb?
you can easily diminish the whole argument by saying they didnt put enough ‘effort’ giving that in the instance the enemy didnt hold j, he wouldve died.
