Please, I’m a Chinese player, how am I supposed to understand the relationship between Britain and India, so when Indian vehicles appeared in Britain, we didn’t say anything!
This isn’t about relationships, this is about consistency.
They should be treating all nations equally, which means that after not giving in to the complaints of the British players, they now shouldn’t give in to the complaints of the Chinese players.
Gaijin already announced that Thailand is a “child” (subtree) of Japan (main tree)
So we are communicating with the game’s development to solve this problem.
allright, so more of the same as was discussed 100 times already.
No one denies that. Subtree - tech tree relation is merely organisation thing, just like you would have folder and subfolder on your PC.
Because thailand is officialy subtree of Japan.
No, you did not. You did however sell VT-4 TO THAILAND.
they became THAI VT-4s first and foremost.
see above. subtree does not mean child of. thats translation error from english to chinese, one chinse community is responsible for correcting.
This is what subtrees do. Multiple independent nations are are allowed to collaborate, even if the vehicles aren’t connected.
This is why Britain, South Africa and India are placed in the same tree, why Italy, Hungary and Romania are placed in the same tree and why France, Belgium and the Netherlands are in the same tree.
Though I do agree Gaijin should present this better and display the flags for these nations to make it clear they are equals working together, not placed under one of them. I also made a suggestion that among other things solves this problem.
Again, this “problem” already happened before and Gaijin didn’t change their mind despite plenty of complaints.
India is now a subtree of Britain and Thailand is a subtree of Japan.
That means:
Indian operated vehicles go to the British tree
Thai operated vehicles (that includes the VT-4) go to the Japanese tree
This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.
Man, we should all solve the problem instead of blaming the person who raised it and wanted to solve it.
Be specific.
I can and I will. Its not us misunderstanding the relationship between tech tree - subtree, and its not us misunderstanding who the thai VT-4 belongs to (its thai)
Wanna argue that some chinese vehicles are in dire need of fixes? you have my full support.
But theres some great misunderstanding how tech tree - subtree relationships worked so far on your part.
As long as India remains a subtree of Britain there is no problem to solve here
You live in the modern day why dwell so hard on the hard politics of the past. Especially in a VIDEO GAME.
This is so much unnecessary drama.
Does it anger you who plays the goddamn nation of Japan get to play Chinese vehicles? Why does that anger people?
Historical reasons are perfectly fine where the discussion is about possible placement of future subtree.
Thai VT-4 is not such case. Its not chinese, its thai. And thailand already is a subtree.
Are you one of those people who doesn’t buy anything made in Japan, doesn’t consume any media from Japan, and get’s physically angry when Japan and China trade?
Using the “real relationship and historical issues” between China and Japan as an argument seems really petty from a GAME perspective. You guys need to start separating fiction from reality.
Go use historical relations to direct your anger to the annual 300 billion dollars of trade, China and Japan have in the modern day 2025. Hello are we living in the same timeline?
I think their issue is with Thailand and not Japan
Nah he’s clearly bitter due to the past relations of China and Japan.
“Can’t we start from the actual situation and recognize the real relationship between China and Japan, the real relationship between the Chinese and Japanese people, and the historical issues between China and Japan?”
I know that what I am about to say could be construed as me not feeling what’s at stake as a Nationalist/Republican Chinese (a.k.a. Taiwanese) lol
The way I see it, having Thai VT-4 fighting on the same team as modern day Japan is simply the result of Thai representation being realized as a subtree of Japan.
In other words- so be it.
At least it’d be presented during matches with Thai insignia. We have to live with every ROC unit being stuck carrying Five-Star symbol on our name tags even though the ROC was way more front and center in WWII.
(It probably helps that we Nationalist Chinese are taught to treat the issue with Japan as being over with… since we won.)
I have not seen any thai origin players object to the Japan subtree addition. Only the vocal Chinese minority citing historical issues. I hope Gaijin grows a spine and stops bending their knees to these who are always butthurt.
1.409 billion “minorities”
I mean, we are playing a game where the nations be matched against themselves and historical alliances are not factored in while playing realistic battles.
Like, don’t you remember the time when Britain, Russia, China and Germany teamed up to fight Japan, Sweden, Italy and the US during WW2?
