Increase the BR of the F-84F

The F-84F is a versatile fighter-bomber that far exceeds the capabilities of most other aircraft at its Battle Rating (8.3). It’s just as fast as the F-86F, the definitive version of one of the greatest aircraft ever built, & it climbs almost as well. It’s deceptively agile, at high airspeed it’s capable of briefly out-turning the notoriously lethal MiG-15. Although it can only out-maneuver the MiG for a short time, its more than enough to draw a bead and shoot it down. The Thunderstreak is also equipped with 6 M3 .50cals, totaling 1,800 rounds of ammunition. Do not be deceived by their low stopping power, the M3 Browning Machine Gun is an excellent weapon for air-to-air combat. Its high fire rate and velocity makes hitting aircraft a breeze, and with 1,800 rounds you have plenty of that to go around. What the F-84F lacks in Acceleration and Energy Rentention, it more than makes up for with its impressive speed, high-speed turn rate, armament, and versatility. All of that, and the American F-84F even gets an airspawn. That’s a truly terrifying combination.

None of this is even mentioning the impressive variety of ordinance the Thunderstreak can carry. It is capable of using a variety of different rockets and bombs, and is also equipped with CCRP to aid in accuracy.

For the reasons of;

  • Surprisingly impressive flight performance
  • Phenomenal Close Air Support capabilties
  • Incredible versatility
    I propose the F-84F be raised from (8.3) to (8.7) in Air Realistic Battles.

Do it, it’ll be funny. I reversed an F-104A once, so it belongs to 9.0.
Also while we’re doing these kinds of things, I suggest lowering the BI-1 to 5.7 because I set it on fire with an F4U-7 a while back (it put out the fire).

  2. First things first, they need ot move the US F-84F up to rank VI and then go from there. Its hard to tell whether its OP or just gets a massive advantage

Carries more Napalm than MiG-23ML, should be 12.0 for balance.

Every few months they put up a thread for specifically discussing BR changes. Players can post suggested changes and they might be implemented.

At the top of the thread you can see a spreadsheet of all the planned changes that will probably come some time next week. Though they are subject to change first and a second post for those changes will come out first. Probably start of next week or end of this week.

I been having problem with them in my Mig15bis and f86a. It probably should have gone up long along tbh.
