I think introducing a BR change right now would be an issue, especially when I think we can all agree that HARMS are likely to be introduced in the near future, meaning that it would probably be more reasonable to change BRs after HARMs, respective of the performance of the new HARMs and SPAAs.
However, honestly I like how there is a noticeable change in top tier, as in my limited experience I’m not being instantly nuked by CAS…
I think the main way to make everyone happy is to just make separate ground modes, one without air, and one with air.

yee, pretty much what a lot a people think. Though when harms come, think ECM would be in the same update or a separate one?

I think it would depend on how balanced Gaijin thinks the new SPAAs are. I would probably imagine that ECM would be included with the HARMs though since they could make it a SEAD themed update, although I’m not sure how people would react considering that new improved SPAA (in my opinion) has been needed for years now. Maybe they would add even more advanced SPAAs?

We all know Russia will be the ones to get SEAD and ECM’s first with maybe france or england getting some (but broken… like always) to say “look, its not just us that have them”

Sadly likely true. Even though they don’t have a dedicated SEAD mission set or group.
Meanwhile we won’t see an F4 weasel or similar for a year and a half
Yeah, gunna be Soviets getting the latest, most modern ARM and everyone else its first gen ARMs that have 1/4 the range and miss all the time.

They can’t and more importanly don’t want to prevent it because enemy strike planes will be near their spaa and fighters. Whoever gets out of the safe zone first will be at a big disadvantage. Therefore, there is no point in doing anything other than throwing bombs at enemy spaa under the cover of your own.
Because in this case they will have absolutely no gameplay?
I don’t really know what the point of continuing the argument is if your highest plane is 9.0. You just have little idea what you’re talking about.

Again, incorrect. They would be able to engage any aircraft who come within range. And most high level systems are more than big enough to defend or threaten significant areas of the ARB map

Then, let’s do this;
We play combined arms.
You spawn a tank, and try freeing the airspace by eliminating the enemy team and their SPAA.
THEN your friendly planes may come in and support your ground vehicles.
Sounds like a good deal?

I’m hoping they focus on fixing the game now, instead of adding more vehicles nobody really wanted, they should also focus up on WW2 vehicles as that’s where the majority of their player base is

Ironic…I remember that the Ka-50 had over a year of being untouchable, where they could just spawn, hover above their helipad and launch their missiles while sitting outside of the range of any SPAA.
And then the FlaRakRad and Ito90 were added, which almost leveled the playing field. I am saying almost, because the Ka-50 was still able to launch and control all 16 Vikhrs at once to intercept any SAMs that were coming for it.
Back on the topic though. I think that the ground trees need decompression. Aircraft go up to 14.0 now (?). IMHO the highest ranking tanks should match that BR with the new top tier SAM systems being there to intercept the air threats with huge ranges.
