That’s not what an exploit is.
Also, that’s nothing new, most people know about overpressure, experienced players know how to destroy a variety of tanks with HE shells, even with smaller ones. The 95Ya6 (Pantsir missile) has plenty of explosive filler, so it is can overpressure vehicles more easily.
Not only are you going to easily get killed in your Pantsir before you can kill a tank, the missiles aren’t guaranteed kills either, especially not at long range.
If two vehicles are completely equal in all metrics except for one, the one vehicles with an advantage in that metric is a straight upgrade. Period.
A sidegrade has a trade-off. The Kisarazu doesn’t trade anything that the TT AH-1S has access to for its CMs. It doesn’t have worse performance, it doesn’t have a higher BR, it’s the same exact vehicle, but with CMs.
All premium vehicles that offer an upgrade over their TT vehicles without any downside are P2W.
Wasn’t overpressure the replacement for hull break?
I suppose that doesn’t really matter though, since both of those mechanics allow you to destroy armored vehicles with explosives without penerating their hull.
Considering the Panthers, Shermans, etc were the MBT’s of their time… it has always been like that though. Was more pointing it out for the guy you were replying to using your question. Plus, KV-2 is a great example of HE shells removing vehicles from the battlefield.
I’m just telling you how your logic is flawed, as you’re obviously using double standards between modes.
They are in that mode in the form of almost useless AI controlled units that will tickle you at worst and be a completely harmless RP/SL pinata at best. Try placing a player controlled system that can easily outrange aircraft while those have little to no escape from incoming fire and let me tell you, the hunter will quickly become the hunted.
I’m sure you remember the times when people were absolutely losing their shit because airfield AA could actually kill them but Gaijin being Gaijin, they nerfed that to please their petulant children.
I think these discussions are held with RB modes in mind, as Sim is pretty much EOL at this point in time.
Only thing that mode does better than ARB is they actually make strike aircraft somewhat usable, just showing how awful ARB is with that.
No one has yet been able to come up with a way to use spaa in the ARB, if you do not reduce the map at least 4 times or even more. You can always be the first to come up with a solution.
Well I mean now that multi vehicle units are a thing, we could give players the option of using fixed defenses like emplaced Patriot / S series units around the bombable bases.
