Wait, I got an idea, is there a keybind that allows me to forget the missile after launching if I didn’t lock the target?

I suppose it depends where you draw the line

I don’t really consider missiles or even self destructing UCAVs to be aircrafts for example, even if by the strict definition they are, in fact, aircrafts.

I was more referring to pure CAS the way we see it in WT. It still exists, but isn’t the most efficient today it would seem

I may just have found an exploit:
I will upload it at yt (too big file size)
The exploit is about that you spawn with 90SP and yo ucan go straight into combat against tanks and just 2 kills and assist could earn you enough SP to jump into CAS.

Hit to the periscope/laser rangefinder with ANY type of HE projectile will instantly kill any top tier tank.

That’s not an exploit lol

Considering our tech in the game are getting closer and closer to the up-to-date vehicles, Gaijin implementing new things in to the WT shouldn’t surprise anyone.

So Air battles shouldn’t contain anti-aircraft vehicles that engage them from the ground ?
Using that logic, Ground battles shouldn’t contain anti-tank vehicles that engage them from the air, as it’s all about the ground warfare.

Denying purpose-built systems for engaging air units from a mode where planes fly doesn’t make any sense.

Well, the fact you can just spawn in any AA (better works with 2S6) and take out tanks with only cost of 70SP is wild.

Wait till you hear that tanks can do that too

Right.

Again. Ground and Naval battles in WT are meant to be combined arms operations.

They are in that mode. They are targets and they do attack planes when provoked.

Man’s never been killed by a Gepard, ZSU-57, Falcon, Duster or similar such popular “tank destroyer” SPAAs

Tanks aren’t 70SP. I call it exploit because there is 100% guarantee you will get a kill if you aim at that spot with any HE projectile. That means you can get guaranteed long range kills and you can’t miss, the missile is easely guided and fast. And since you got it for only 70SP, you need just one cap and kill for CAS.

Yh, except this method takes 0 effort.

Listing the Kisarazu on that list is farsical because of how little an impact those CMs have in comparison to the differences that the other vehicles you listed have compared to the TT counterparts. Additionally, calling the Kisarazu a " straight upgrade " is disingenuous because other than the flares and paintjob it is no different from the TT AH-1S. The base vehicle performance and armament access are the very same. Having CMs makes it a side-grade, not an upgrade.

Now, I’m not saying that the TT AH-1S shouldn’t have flares. It should, and it still makes zero sense why Gaijin hasn’t given it them, but to use its lack of CMs to declare the Kisarazu a P2W vehicle is again completely farsical and devalues your argument.

Just food for thought.

Jesus christ buddy

Its not an exploit.

Literally anyone knows this.

You are exploring America.

Overpressuring MBTs with AA missiles through roof has been in the game since SACLOS SAMs were added.

Ovepressuring MBTs with HE shells has been in the game since hell, i dont even know how long. 3OF26 prolly ?

Theres a reason why you dont see giant unarmored AA trucks being meta tank destroyers at top tier my man.

That’s not what an exploit is.
Also, that’s nothing new, most people know about overpressure, experienced players know how to destroy a variety of tanks with HE shells, even with smaller ones. The 95Ya6 (Pantsir missile) has plenty of explosive filler, so it is can overpressure vehicles more easily.

Not only are you going to easily get killed in your Pantsir before you can kill a tank, the missiles aren’t guaranteed kills either, especially not at long range.

Well, idk why, but I never got killed on that way ever. This is something completely new for me.

You can do the same with 3OF26. Try it in test drive.

If two vehicles are completely equal in all metrics except for one, the one vehicles with an advantage in that metric is a straight upgrade. Period.

A sidegrade has a trade-off. The Kisarazu doesn’t trade anything that the TT AH-1S has access to for its CMs. It doesn’t have worse performance, it doesn’t have a higher BR, it’s the same exact vehicle, but with CMs.

All premium vehicles that offer an upgrade over their TT vehicles without any downside are P2W.

Since tanks came in… tiny tims, even smaller HE rockets have been used since tanks were a thing
