I absoluely care about balance. It was boring in Su-34 before IRIS-T, but now it’s unfair towards ELEVEN-POINT-THREE players, not to me. And what will this cause? You will get your revenge and after few months CAS mains will get mad and Gaijin will make something insanely OP that not even IRIS-T will counter and that absolutely how it used to be and how it WILL be if it just doesn’t stop with simple balance once and forever. As a moderate player (I play both ground and CAS (if I coud spawn in CAS right away I wouldn’t, but I would play tank first)) I see that meta from any side in unacceptable, but it should just be balance. But perhaps, you’re just a close-midned moron that reads every third sentence because you can’t understand anything more complex than “this op, this bad, change pls”.
tank vs plane is inherently unbalanced and a tank only gamemode is needed. but gaijin doesnt want that, so its only reasonable that CAS isnt op anymore
Its become less frequent now from the 70 matches I been on with Tan Sam Kai. CAS is still used but the new SAM systems are keeping almost every CAS player focused on the SAM 1st instead of the tanks, as well as forcing them to fly low making it harder for the unexperienced ones to CAS. Glad to see is not chaotic as before at least.
still more useful than the elde 98, the CS at least gets a gun some decent mobility and probably better missiles (dont quote me on that cuz im not sure but with the current funky TWS and missile bugs the elde 98 is pure pain)
Rank 8 CAS is balanced now, but 11.3 CAS is underpowered. But perhaps, instead of acting like fucking neanderthals and argue about this one against each other, we have to understand that Gaijin is purposely doing it is this order:
release something OP for CAS
make ground players suffer
when ground players are about to leave, release OP CAS counter
make CAS players suffer
when CAS players are about to leave, release OP CAS meta
and it will reapeat in this order ifinitely in order to make grind endless and painful so players spend more time and money on the game.
Silence CAS main, stop acting like you care about balance. You literally said you were bored. You care more about your ability to point and click at any BR and get all the eliminations. THIS IS BALANCE, and I am so glad it happened. We as a community are in near unanimous decision that is a good thing. Honestly, the biggest shame is that these SPAAs are not unlocked for free at Reserves so then CAS would no exist at all. No more Pe-8s, no more Lancasters, no more Junkers or Me 262, or any American CAS. They would all be wiped out from 1.0, that would not be balanced, but it would be justice.
How is it balance if 11.3 CAS can’t do anything, they jsut get instantly obliterated with not even small chance of even launchng their missiles or dropping their bombs? It’s balance for me, as Su-34 player and I kinda like it because it’s not boring anymore.

I don’t think that CAS should absolutely dominate, I only think that lower tier CAS (not rank 8 CAS) should not engage against SPAA that counters Su-30SM.
11.3-7 CAS isn’t low tier, it’s not at the top but it’s pretty close. CAS players can always go and play ARB or sim, tank players don’t have that luxury. CAS players also barely have 1/5th to 1/10th of the enemy team to care about, tank players have 100% of the enemy team that can kill them, and they mostly don’t have ways to know when helicopters or planes are about to kill them
