I’ve had that happen in countless matches

Try hugging the ground after you take off - siren triggers when you reach certain altitude. If you fly at treetops siren does not trigger.

I think trigger is the same as that small “reward for take off”, so around 100m above ground

That would be in line with my experience, had a lot of cases where the sirens went off just seconds before the nuke carrier arrived and cases where the sirens never went off because the map was flat enough for a nuke carrier to never get the take-off reward

Well, no. The siren starts playing as soon as you spawn with the nuke plane. I’ve caught them a few times before they even took off.

They were in planes. Siren don’t work properly for air. You hear siren only when near tank map. Ground always hear it.

Ground only hears it if the siren goes off in the first place.
Also, not one of the posts I linked/quoted said that the players were in planes.

there is already plenty dead weight in all air RB matches, this is not an issue.
the issue would be non-aircraft in the aircraft gamemode

How is ARB a “combined arms”?

No shit, you always have dead weight in your teams, be it wallet warriors, one death leavers, trolls that bring a bunch of low BR vehicles into high BR games, etc.
The difference is that helicopters and ground vehicles are completely worthless in air battles. The planes can just fight somewhere else and the helis and ground vehicles cannot follow. Or the planes just fight at high altitude.

It’s almost like that’s the point.

Ground battles are designed in a way that allows planes and helis to support tanks, but the objectives are in a small area with objectives that (most of the time) planes and helis cannot properly capture. The only way to win without using tanks is to drain the enemy team of tickets by killing them and that is highly unlikely to happen.

Air battles are designed in a way that makes playable ground vehicles and helis entirely useless, even on the maps with actual objectives. What do you think is a heli or a tank supposed to do in an air battle? The planes don’t have to engage with you in a way that gives you an opportunity to attack the plane.

So lets make the same for GRB - playable tranks, AI planes, ships and other ground trucks etc

yes. just like people going into a game mode that has one of its main selling points being combined arms then demanding to play non-combined arms.

They could have a sizable area in the map where ground stuff can take place. add objectives for cas in the area to drawn planes there. would be much better for cas due to better rewards and better gameplay.

Yeah, i dont see helis or tanks being possible. spaa could if they did it right. it would certainly make cas not as boring.
