Much like reporting this still relies on others to be effective, you’re assuming OP can find other people to play with, and that those people can all play at the same time together reliably.

Just flew a match in my Ki-49 IIb/L, what i did was space climb, no enemy planes came my way as all of them dived. Took a few potshots at aPE-3 but otherwise, got the last 2 bases in a row on the spaceport air map.

The fact that merely opposing someone on a discussion forum can warrant someone to insinuate and insult on the outset is beyond a joke because it leads to this sort of prejudice and dogpiling because everyones seen me post everywhere and has something to disagree with, but they can’t do it in the thread they seen it in, they just hold that back and wait until they are opposed directly, or see a discussion going on that they disagree with…

I always liked the JP bombers thx to their very good handling, but from a pure game play perspective the benefit from killing a base or two is (outside B7A2) not worth the risk to fly them. You don’t gain a relevant mission score or you have a game impact so it makes no economic sense.
The problem of the Do 217s is the high BR of 4.3 (E-2) - and the actually rather bad climb. Climb rate on paper looks pretty good, but the BMW engines overheat like hell.
Even with 80% prop pitch and water rad to 50% (no oil cooler) it is impossible get really high (= > 7km). So even with just 8 x C 250 flamm internally (= low weight, no increase of drag = best anti-base payload) you need patience, lots of patience :-)
To be fair: I flew and spaded the 217 E-2 just to do some tests regarding the effectiveness of the C 250 incendiary bombs as i witnessed several airfield kills by German bombers in the last weeks. The damage output of the C 250 Flamm is insanely high…
Oh yeah I agree, I’m right now trying to spade them. rarely actually play their BR anymore been sticking to low tier since carpet bombing is actually worth a while especially if you fly the FW-200 Condor.
