If you could, how would you re-balance CAS in Ground Battles?

It’s only natural that a player would want it removed when it’s far too easy to get for what it’s worth. CAS is a cancer to ground.

There’s plenty of maps that don’t offer coverage and a player will have to leave coverage to progress in the map. A player who wants to be able to fight other tanks and progress in the game without having to worry about a player who only had 1 kill and 1 assist coming back in a plane with 3 1000 lb bombs and 50 cals to ruin his day would want this feature removed or nerfed.

The only update mention for aircraft are about anti radiation missile.

Make air involvement in ground battles more dynamic, and make it easier to use CAS. More CAS = more AA gunners present in a match that aren’t just using WT’s broken autocannon mechanics. It’s literally that simple, pookie.

We need CAS and CAP to both be more viable, whilst SPAA be less. It’s far more fun to shoot down planes with other planes than to use brainrot SPAA.

Chances are people want to use ground vehicles more than air if they’re in ground battles, you know that, right? So no - more SPAA is need, obv.

SPAA is boring, whether you like ground or air. It should be a disposable early game deterrent that helps keep one side from getting total air superiority by getting a plane up early.

They could start by fixing the infinite missile tracking capability of the LDIRCM sensors and correctly modeling the mach fuck helicopter rotors so that they properly show up on radar.

Gotta love how helicopters are in a perpetual state of notching, whilst IRL it’s literally impossible.

I really wish this discussion was broken up based on BR. Like CAS balancing issues are totally different depending on if you’re talking about Yak9 spam at 4.0 versus 8.7 BR helis fighting ozelots with no flares,RWR, or thermals, versus top tier team wiping Kh38 spam or some other plane shooting a 38 brimstone death blossom attack every five minutes or whatever.

That’s kinda impossible with current brimstone implementation. With mode 2(? Can’t remember exact detail) LOAL mode you can do the “launch at general area and let the missiles sort themselves out” tactic but that is 100% not implemented and probably won’t be for some time.

Right now the best a Brimstone carrier can do is single out one guy to get slapped in 2 to 3 business days while trying to avoid the ground based death bubble from super pantsir, IRIS-T and etc. SPICE 250 can be used more like a Maverick missile where you dump multiple at different targets and leave without supporting them, but those are way easier for SAMs to deal with.

There are a lot of great suggestions for for CAS rebalance. I think the simple solution is to provide a separate Ground Mode that doesn’t include Air Vehicles. Is it the best solution - NO. Is it the easiest solution - YES. If I want to level my AA vehicles or use Air vehicles in GB, I would choose GB + Air.

I wish that could happen, but gaijin have said it won’t ever happen. ( you can easily guess the reasons…)

CAS problem can be easily deal with in existing ground battle mode , if gaijin wants to but that’s the real problem, they don’t want to lol , just look at CAS buff being given this update , that shows they don’t want to fix the issue instead make it worse.
