so harrier is better accelerating? ik both F-5 and F-8 have solid turn performance

Yours I think them being 10.0 after being fully corrected in terms of flight performance would only be fair.

The Harrier just straight up out classes them basically.
in what areas of performance though? if they are that deadly, i gotta start thinking of ways to fight in them/deal with them
They are able to keep there turn rate becuase they keep around the same speed throughout the fight

They have so much thrust it doesn’t matter what you do lol. You can just play with them.

yeah thats true, played like 3 games in AV-8C just now and i noticed it never really went below 600kph without flaps. doesnt turn too great there though

Their cornering speed is nuts even in a full rate turn it will never fall below 350 knots irl

It was good for its time, it just got outclassed. Its still good against weaker nations though
Hm… It’s tricky without comparing them accross all nations but AV-8C shouldnt be the same BR as the F-4C I’d go:
9.7 for the Harrier Gr1 with no CMs
10.0 for the Harrier Gr3 and AV-8C with 60 CMs
10.3 for the AV-8A and AV-8S with 240 CMs
Harrier’s have gotten better, but they are still subsonic and underperforming quite a bit a still .

But difficult to counter Su-27 (Flanker-B) & J-11 with HMS, R-27ER/R-27ER1 and R-73/R-73E. and the early fighter aircraft with active radar homing medium-range missile (13.0 ~ 13.3) because F/A-18A none JHMCS & AIM-9M and 60 CM
Or add F-14A (1981) with WVR missile AIM-9H & AIM-9L but retain BVR missile like F-14A early
Yes 4th gen’s are made with air combat in mind even still it’s not a night and day loss for the harrier.
A harrier can still win this is the harrier 1.
A harrier 2 is mental.

The reason mine (AV-8C) is 10.3 because im hoping itll get more flight model fixes. That’s why it is sitting higher than it seems like it should.

The flankers will be balanced I just have not gotten to them yet, I still need to do Air ground BR’s but im lacking some info about missing ordinance.
