You said you “can’t use a fighter because…”. So you now know you can spawn a fighter as it is cheaper in SP than CAS.
So I see you just want to be defeatist, fair enough. I wonder why CAS gets to be so annoying sometimes with that odd attitude! The mystery!!
In the mean time players in aircraft can get more kills than they should as they are left to do what they want with no counter, since you can’t use CAP because they can be used for CAS too (so no difference between one 50kg bomb and a fully loaded Corsair etc. apparently) and you can’t get enough SP since SP for CAP is less than CAS.
Well, no wonder some players get so confused and air is a problem for them. I realise a section are just beyond help.

Oh, except when it does, and even using a bomber as CAP (from trialing the new 2000lb and failing then twitching to fighter defence)
Starter Israel really is poor, though you could have used the Spits as they are 5.7 (They really push to buy Premium Vehicles for Israel to get it started, the clipped Spit being not as good at the Premium, but you also could use the P-51. Sakeen is a personal choice, not the only option - but then you need to play a lot of the Sakeen in Air or get the Premium Spit). Just a shame no one on your side thought to help you out as I am sure Israel were not alone and the 15 other players might well have had opportunities to take some time as anti-air. Of course you personally couldn’t counter the salty enemy (or clever, since he might just know teams don’t react or expect CAS… apparently).
It might well be annoying, but since this is an expected part of the game you can only hope players eventually learn to be more team players (solo works better, but I am not that selfish).
Imagine if one player went for the vulnerable light tank at a higher BR (planes were abound but I did not even have to dodge one bomb or strafe):
(I presume a 5.3+ game if the 109 is where I think it is. I just remember US tanks went poof).
Edit: In a different universe you might have respawned in a relevant aircraft and, though losing your own ground unit initially, would put off the enemy aircraft and stop them from causing uncontested damage to your team. Otherwise the message to the enemy player is “keep using CAS as people often won’t counter it”, and this happens for years so now we have the worsening situation.
There is a simple answear for that:
„Because people would like to play ground units, that is why they have started a game in ground battles.”

That is a moot point and moving away from the discussion within the topic (in context of @Sytryse issue with SP costs being a reason not to spawn CAP) . Moving the goal posts is not helpful.
Again, scroll back to the conversation/comment in question and best to keep in that context. That is not relevant in this instance.
I mentioned this twice so just scroll back to keep that in mind. Do you agree or not? (SP is not a great boundary to spawning CAS… whether the mode was called GROUND BATTLES or CAP can be used to attack ground targets is just ignoring the original comment completely and moving towards a smokescreen).
On that note, smoke can put off accurate bomb drops (for those smaller kg bombs that need more precision).

then it is the players issue. I mean why would said player then say getting enough SP is an issue if they did not intend to use an air unit at some point?

Again, it just detracts from the subject being commented on. The usual Rabbit Hole method ignoring what was just being talked about. SP costs making CAP viable or not.
And remember this is about what changes could be made, not the option for a tandem, competing, mode.
Because again this had been forgotten.
If SP costs are a problem to someone that is just a skill issue, especially when talking about clean fighter. The only problem I see is that a person can spawn clean fighter and dedicate himself to the role of anti CAS if he dies in ground unit.

It is not a problem of learning a new skill, rather not doing what You wanted at the beginning
My point is just that if more players responded early with fighter planes to enemy planes with bombs, a lot would be achieved.

Yes and I have replied about it now.
Yes, I tried to do this but apart from a few all I got were attacks on:
- I am a CAS main
- CAP does not work (especially if you use stats poorly and use every match ever played over 8 years etc etc)
I try so much to push the same point but many here (forum) are just defeatist in that regard. Not in respect to ULQs comments but others.
A simple “Yes, you are correct” would have sufficed ;)
Evolution is a good thing. People can embrace it or be stuck in the cave! The fact aircraft spawn in should have been a sign, but some take a lot more time than others.

It is really simple about SP and someone trying to claim that gathering enough SP for clean fighter is admitting that it must be really difficult to spawn with bombs/rockets.
Or “Yes, you are correct” It is less words.
Never said that You are not correct about SP costs, so Yes, You are correct.

I’m not here to tell people what they want to hear. I’m here to show people that there are other options. Players like us are often laughed at for this, but my experience has been that it’s best to start changing things yourself before asking for changes.
Btw it was not my intention to distract from the actual core message regarding the SP costs. Sorry if that gave the impression.

No issue, I was just pointing it out (the not quite relating to my own comment bit) so the original reply was not lost to furiously “beating around the bush” ;)
I was only commenting to a notion I found questionable, with the same thought as you to promote changes of attitude until something like Tank Only mode become a thing.
