personally I would like a system where minor nations TTs are fully fleshed out and you can attach them to a major nation of your choosing, so Canada and Australia would be smaller TTs and you could pick ONE of them to grind with UK. It would fix a lot of the controversies. (Cough Thai VT4 Cough)

Thats actually fair. Tho that is also a muh different situation of what you ask. M55s and M44s were added to tech trees, free of charge, and because “its the same exact tank THIS SPECIFIC COUNTRY USED”. Not even a subtree of that nation as i remember. That was their justification.
Now, if different canadian leo is added (i dont remember the re-release happening anyhow except said shot kal and strv81) in any form, it COULD go to Britain but with 2a4can being german and c2a1 being german, its probably going to be german as well.
Nah, you’re in the right. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India, belong in the British tech tree. Not your fault some weirdos are all up in arms because God forbid Britain gets anything good. Half the people here are why the Fox and Eland suck, and why the Falcon and AMX are at 8.3 with zero defensive measures and only just got a radar.

122s are the best armored leos in game, even beating the 2A7s.
122B+/122B PLSS/122A/2A6 is easily a better MBT lineup than 2A7V/PSO/2A6/2A5.

The Leo 2A4 was never released, only the 2A4M which is a pack vehicle. The C2A1 is an event vehicle and could be reused for GB. The regular 2A4M could be moved to GB and the Senrai Maidens version staying German so each nation has the option.
Fair, but I also think that’s more of an avoidable issue. Gaijin could easily add a lot more interesting content that isn’t exported, but for some reason they ignore most of the options or make them events rather than techtree.
I’m too used to look at options in a general sense, as in things that can still be added in the future, rather than the techtrees as they are. As it is I can see why that’s all some people care about, but the solution shouldn’t be to restrict export vehicles but to instead add the many unique domestic vehicles and variants that export money helped fund.
This also generally brings back the “best variant of X vehicle” to the manufacturing nation when it comes to top tier, since the most advanced tech is generally not exported at all.

No it cant. At least as of now, there are NO “GE” event machine reuses added, and that should stay like that.
That is great option, tho it again brings the quesion on if the Canada to be added as separate tech tree (not just “bunch of vehicles”) to justify it.
Similar yeah. It’s mainly focused on trying to improve the subtree system in a way that none of the involved nations suffer from either having or being a subtree anymore.
GB in this instance is Great Britain, not Golden Eagles or GE. Event vehicles pop up again now and then. In the SE gambling bundles, as extra rewards for other events.
Merkava Mk1 and Merkava 2B are both former event vehicles for USA now in the Israeli TT
Merkavas in US TT, Magach in the US TT, TWO premium (swedish and israeli) centurions in UK TT, italian low tier planes, israeli apache in the US TT, israeli vatours and F84s etc.
Point is, unless its been officially announced as subtree, things are subject to change.
