I’ve used it in a couple with my friend’s 15C and E. If u have ever played a 1v1 u will know that flanker pretty much eats F15s for breakfast. 9Ms pretty much require u to be pointing at the target to hit, especially at close range. R73’s HOBS capability can let u hit 90 degree off bore if u do it in slow speed.

Yeah nah, the flanker almost always loses in 1v1’s mate, again if you are being off bored by an R73 you done messed up.

You are negative in every one of your top tiers for ARB mate, regardless of what you do in sim, in GRB the planes are substantially better.

Sim allows you to use the plane’s flight performance to it’s limit flying in manual controls, instead of rb which is limited by the instructor.

Not only that, but the avionics and weapon packag3s matter much more, and have a bigger impact due to the nature of the mode.

That’s why, using full real controls the 15C loses to the majority of the stuff it faces.

Besides, the core mechanics and the ways you should play the 2 modes (gsb and grb) don’t differ much from each other, so most of the stuff you see and do in grb, can also be applied in sb

Nah try this. The R-73 Is An Absolute Boomerang But There Is More To It Than That Just the opening, F16 preflared and all, did nothing. NVM F15s which are a lot worse off. This used to be less strong without full control but Cobra button has been added.

Actually just to note, GRB doesn’t use full control but is more like sim than ARB. So your stats are actually much better in comparison to just ARB.

I dont really find sim thst way at all, ive best f18s with a mirage f1 200.

Or a tornado f3 so its a bit skewed that way, also the fact folks cruise about with the cockpit open without loss of performance shows how sim is inherently flawed.

Dont get me wrong im not a big fan of ARBs instructor either however its how the vast majority of folks fly.

By the way what you said makes little sense, if an f15C beats the flanker with instructor surely it wins without it as well.

Technically yes and no, hes better at sim however hes Worse at ARB Statistically speaking.

Ive used the r73 mate its good but again if you flare properly and dont put yourself in stupid positions its easy beaten.

Same as all the irccm missiles, bangers if your opponent positions badly

Im sorry again, if someones putting you in a position to cobra you, then you fk’d up big time.

The cobra buttons also on the F15 last I checked so yeah, not as potent as the sukhoi version but still there.

I’ve yet to be forced into a position with an F15 I cant get out of, even against su30.

Yea you’re right, it is flawed and that’s just one of the many flaws that sim has, but that’s another story.

the F15 rates more, has better retention over all, it performs better than the su27SM in flight charactaristics other than instantanious turning AKA AoA , the SU30 in game has weaker engines and is heavier than the su27SM last I checked. that or its missing a chunk of its lift.

I’ve yet again to see an F15E or C for that matter lose out on the dogfight with a su27Sm .

The Su30 I did state its more closer however the F15’s hold the advantage.

The Su30s are overall worse, going on about the cobra button as if it doesnt leave you a sitting duck

The weird nozzles throw me off. It’s supposed to make me more manoeuvrable, yet I constantly get stuck halfway into my spin. And let’s not mention sitting in the targeting pod too long causes the plane to just start falling.
